Simply the best airbrush I've used in 15 years!
I've been airbrushing artwork for some 15 years now, frequently with 2 problems: inconsistent results and hand fatigue from extended trigger use. I took delivery of my 0.3 today, and this is an impressive unit! First, its heavily chromed finish is not only beautiful but serves a practical purpose: the chrome work extends to the inside of the paint cup ensuring very easy cleaning of the cup when changing paint. 2 things I noticed at first: the sloping grooved trigger and the SPIRAL cutaway at the back of the unit. The grooved design of the trigger DRASTICALLY reduces hand fatigue and also provides incredibly precise control. The spiral cutaway allows easy access to the airflow control. The needle literally glides through the brush and is ultra smooth in both feel and operation. The front sides of the brush are flat making it exceptionally comfortable to hold for extended use (I just completed a 3 hour session with it and have NEVER been able to work for anything near that length of time with my other brushes without wrist fatigue). I also discovered the spiral grooves on the tip allowed for much more efficient paint flow and therefore more consistent painting results. Backflushing is an absolute breeze with this brush. There is a lever control knob on the rear of the brush which allows you to control the lever travel which I found especially useful. There is even a card included showing an exploded diagram of the parts and a couple of instructions (although not many) for consideration by the user when breaking down the brush for a "deep clean" and its subsequent reassembly, and I found this to be a very straightforward and seamless experience and of all my airbrushes I found this one the easiest and most straightforward to breakdown, deep clean and reassemble! Reducing the compressor pressure and obviously adjusting the brush distance from the art project resulted in consistent, relatively fine lines and small dots. I will say however that this piece is built more for small area to large area coverage so if you do a lot of fine detail work then the 0.2mm model would probably be be the better option. With that having been said I did discover with online research that with the exception of the paint cup the parts are NOT interchangeable between the 0.2 & the 0.3. So if you do a variety of work ranging from very fine to broader coverage you will probably need to purchase both models. However for the combined price of the two models you would still pay less than a single higher end version of the Harder & Steenbeck and Iwata airbrushes even though the Gaahleri easily rivals the models from those 2 manufacturers, resulting in an excellent financial value for your initial cash outlay in terms of the quality of the end result of your painting. It comes with a quick connect already attached. However, I personally don't use the quick connect system and found it easily unscrews so that the air hose can be attached directly to the airbrush. Of note I did check a couple of videos of this product online and found in those videos that a tube of lube was included which was absent from my box. Not sure if that's just a packaging issue or a conscious decision on the part of the manufacturer since the videos were posted but as I have lube readily available it certainly wasn't a deal-killer for me. If you are just starting your airbrush journey I personally feel you really can't do much better than getting this unit, and even if you are more experienced like me you will find its ease of use, comfort and artwork results will make you start to consider making this your go-to airbrush.

Gaahleri delivers: a five star airbrush
I paid $84 for the Gaahaleri mobius 0.2 and did not know what to expect. Gaahaleri claims this airbrush allows adjustment of airflow and main lever, and that is a premium airbrush. 0.2 sounds too small, and often has problems with consistency, unless you are shooting ink. Out of the box it looks like an Iwata Eclipse, but w/ a knob for airflow adjustment and a removable cup. Before I tested it, I ran my Iwata Eclipse for an hour doing mixed work on miniatures. The Iwata Eclipse is a great airbrush, for $170. I then ran the Gaahaleri mobius 0.2 for about 4 hours straight, applying the base colors to a tray of minis. I had to play around a little with the main lever and airflow knobs, but found a good spot and carried on. Nice to be allowed control of airflow and lever. The result was good, frustration free, airbrushing. The trigger was smooth, and the brush consistent throughout the session. I was surprised how well it performed and found that very little cleaning was needed. During the four hours I only did basic cleaning between color refills and swaps. I had no problems with clogging (used pro acrylics, molotow, and Vallejo), and the 0.2 nozzle worked surprisingly well. This brush performs shamelessly well for a $84 airbrush, and I wonder if this is Gaahaleri quietly establishing themselves as one of the topdogs? The Iwata Eclipse is a great airbrush but at twice the price. Gaahaleri is a great airbrush at half the price. Gaahaleri indeed delivered a premium airbrush, a great one at that, with hassle free airflow and main lever adjustment knobs. This is a five star review. Price to performance this may be the best airbrush you can get at the moment. Get one while you still can.

Fantastic Brush for the cost
The build quality of the airbrush is excellent. I love the design. very comfortable to hold and minimal fatigue with the trigger design. They put a lot of thought into this brush and for the price It is very impressive. I did my initial testing with FW inks thinned with Createx 4021. The Createx illustration works equally as well with little to no tip dry. I could get hairlines with excellent flow and atomization. I did polish the needle with a cloth and chrome/aluminum polish. But that was just my OCD. The needle bearing was a little tight but adjusting it was easy with the cutout in the design. A little gun lube and I only took the needle out once to check for bleed through. I haven't removed it sense. No need to my cleaner was just a spray bottle of water and a dash of isopropyl alcohol to blast out the cup. wipes down squeaky clean. If I could afford it would have at least one of every brush they sell. Buy one you wont be disappointed.

The Secretariat of airbrushes
I judge my airbrush by a different metric than most. They mostly all spray like they're supposed to, at first anyways. I want to know if it can take a little abuse, how many times I can poke my project with the needle tip before it's unusable. I'm often side-tracked by kids, dogs, phone, ect. How does it spray if I leave it for an hour? 2 hours. Overnight? The Gaaleri has been put through all these paces unfortunately but has held up well. It's got a real premium look and feel to it and is a solid workhorse.it cleans up very easily, and it can take some abuse and neglect in good measure, but is seemingly not affected. For any other neglectful parents of good airbrushes, this one is a solid 8.5/10.

What a great airbrush!!
Although this isn't super cheap like the Amazon generic airbrushed, it's also half the price of H&S and Iwata. I really like this airbrush, had good weight in the hands similar to the higher end brushes, very smooth flow right out of the box. Also a great looking brush with the gold highlights. I have several H&S and Iwata airbrushes and this is darn near close in quality. We'll see how it holds up, but only time will tell. Highly recommend!

Inexpensive with a professional feel
I decided to purchase this just to try it out. I have several other airbrushes in my collection - Iawata, Badger, Neoeco, Harder & Steenbeck - and for the most part, love them all. So when I saw a review about this one, and the ease of use and quality, I figured why not give it a try. Right out of the box, it looks and feels professional. Solid, nice weight to it, and the craftsmanship is superb. From the solid connections and fitting of the cup and removable pieces to the overall operation, this thing was really a shock. Threw in some Scale Color paint, no thinning, to hit up my 1:350 TOC Enterprise and voila...perfection. Almost TOO perfect as I had to turn the PSI on my compressor down (had it previously around 25 for my Badger to operate smoothly). This machine just threw the paint out, no problem at all, even at a lower PSI (now around 15). And, clean up? Almost flawless and no "deep cleaning" required. Threw in some water, mixed it around in the cup, poured it out, threw some more in and blew it out...and it was like brand new again. Not a drop in the cup nor on the needle or needle head/nozzle. VERY impressed with this for the price.
