I am very picky about protein supplements and high calorie liquids. They are gritty, have a nasty flavor or odor (even the so-called flavorless packets taste gross to me), or are way too thick and fill me up too much. But this unjury chicken broth is different. It’s easy to prepare and drink, it has a pleasant chicken broth flavor and scent, and it dissolves very well in water. The protein is of good quality and thus easily digested, so people like me who are recovering from a serious disease, can drink a cup of this chicken broth and not feel nauseated or overly full. I followed the instructions on the package and heated my water to exactly 140°F. The powder dissolved immediately and completely, with no grit left behind. I do prefer my hot foods slightly hotter than that, but the directions clearly stated that the liquid should not be any warmer than 140°F, so I set the temperature in my electric teapot and didn’t have to worry about it. It just meant I had to drink it all quickly and not just sip on it over time like I’d prefer. It is a little annoying, but not the end of the world. The only negative is I did not get a scoop to measure out the powder like the packaging said. I use a kitchen scale to weigh out the powder, so it’s just one extra step. When I’ve used the product for awhile longer, I assume I’ll get good enough at estimating the amount of powder needed. I highly recommend this product for anyone who eats meat and needs extra protein for wound healing and overall recovery.

You cant put in liquid hotter than 140 degrees or it clumps up and you cant unclump it. Tastes good just wish I could have it really hot

This is possibly the best protein supplement I have ever tasted. I am always on the lookout for ways to sneak extra protein into my diet, and following a friend's suggestion, I decided to try this. The chicken flavor is just as good, if not better, than any chicken broth I've tasted. The directions say not to add the powder to water warmer than 140 degrees, so I warmed water in my electric kettle to 130 degrees. It was perfect! I can see myself adding this to many savory dishes that need a lift, both in flavor and protein content. I will definitely purchase this again and again.

Not a fan of the flavor and too salty.

Those with medical reasons to increase their protein intake are all too familiar with products that claim to be delicious - and taste like ground chalk in a cup of muddy water. This stuff does what it says. Get the temperature right (140 degrees), and it dissolves completely and makes a great cup of seasoned broth. Drink it as is, or use it to boost the protein content of pureed foods while making them easier to swallow. Or, use it as a base for your own soup. Being on a special diet is a drag. This product makes it better.

In hot liquids the texture gets super weird and congeals. My fault for not reading more carefully but considering that this product is for broth it’s beyond disappointing. Overall flavor is fine, but since I like my soup hot I can’t use this.
