Deep socket is a life saver for threaded rod nuts
Used these with a breaker bar to get into a tight fixing spot for a vehicle charger . Using threaded rod that was already chemically fixed in place I couldn't get in to cut it down to length with a grinder or hacksaw so used this set of deep sockets with a breaker bar and gland pliers to turn it . They worked great and can tell the sockets are solid and will last forever or until I lose them

Why?
The most ridiculously over-packaged product I've ever seem. Sockets will probably be OK but lots of defects in the surface metal and chrome finish. Cheap but better to ditch the packaging and reduce the price, I just wanted the sockets.
