I ordered this Comfier Shiatsu Neck & Back Massager Chair Pad on a Wednesday and was enjoying it in the comfort of my home on Saturday evening! There are many features about this Comfier Massager Chair Pad that I really appreciate. It's very well constructed out of quality fabric & materials, using heavy duty sewing thread and secured stitching throughout. Both the Massage Unit itself & the Neck Roller Portion feature Quality Mesh Fabric, which I feel really matters, as I have had issues with other massagers where the mesh was worn through in a short amount of time. In the Main Unit, Mesh is centered over the area where the Four 1" Back Roller Heads are located (2 on each side.) In the Neck Roller Section, the entire Washable, Removable Neck Roller Cover is made of Mesh. This portion of the unit features Two - 2" Roller Heads, (1 on each side.) I like that the Neck Massager Section offers Individual Control Settings from the Main Unit which allows me to use Both Massage Sections Simultaneously Or Separately. Comfier includes an attractive Fabric Cover Piece that attaches to the Back of the Main Unit using Very Strong Velcro. It drapes over the front of the unit and can be used to soften the intensity of the massage rollers. I leave it on as added protection for the Mesh fabric it covers. The 16" wide x 14"deep x 1.5" thick Padded Seat Cushion also features a Washable Removable Cover with a well placed, easy to manipulate zipper that makes removing/replacing the Seat Cushion Cover a breeze! The Bottom of the Seat Cushion Cover is coated in small silicone dots which act as grippers to secure placement of the cushion & main unit. NOTE: These small pieces of silicone have tiny sharp tips which might leave indents on or poke tiny holes into the surface of whatever you place the cushion on. I use a thick towel to prevent the grippers from leaving pin prick marks in my chair's leather seat. The Main Unit's Upper Section measures 31" in height x 18 1/2" in width (at widest point). As my images show, the Office Chair I was certain would be large enough to properly seat the massage pad on fell short. The Unit is a bit Larger than I imagined it would be. (For reference, my office chair seat measures 24"w x 17"d with the chair back measuring 20"H x 21"W. ) The Main Unit Also Includes 2"w Elastic Bands with Velcro Fasteners which wrap around the Back of the Chair for added stability. On another note, while some might find them to be a nuisance, I find the Wing-Like Side Sections of the Main Unit help me to feel more secure & relaxed when using the unit. Power - The unit Must be plugged into an electrical socket for power. Rest assured that Comfier did NOT skimp on Length where the cables needed to power the unit are concerned. There is an 8" section of cable permanently attached to the bottom of the main unit. That connects to a 58" long, flatter & thinner cable, the opposite end of which plugs into one end of the power supply. The portion of cable from the other end of the power supply to the wall outlet measures another 60" in length. The Remote Control for the unit measures 6.5" x 2.5". It's relatively flat and comfortable to grip. There are small Blue LED Display Lights for the Different Setting Options, HOWEVER, they are Not Bright Enough to Illuminate the Function Icons next to each blue light without an additional light source. Before I forget, I want to credit the designer of this massager chair pad for adding a conveniently placed Storage Pocket on the Main Unit to store the remote when not in use. Attention to the little details really does make a difference. Overall this is a High Quality Product Offered By A Reputable Company at an Affordable Price. I work from home and don’t move around as much as I should. This back and neck massager is offering some good relief for my back pain. I love the neck massager too, especially with the heat turned on. It really helps when I have a stiff neck but it is also great just for a regular massage. The rollers on the neck massager can be height adjusted so that they are in the right position for your sitting height. The massaging rollers for your back move up and down or you can set them to move only in the upper or lower back zone. And when you find the perfect sweet spot for an area that needs massaging you can press the “spot” button and it will stay in that position. I use that option frequently on my lower back. The vibration feature I don’t use very much but it is a nice option to have. The remote is nice and easy to understand. The lights on the rollers and the side pocket for the remote are a nice touch. You can unzip the cover where your head goes, I am guessing to allow you to wash it. The built quality and the materials they used seem really nice. I feel like it is a good value for the money, especially if you compare it with the cost of 2 or 3 visits at the chiropractor. And they try to get you to come back to milk your credit card some more!

I use this chair often and find it relieves a lot of body stress. I mostly wanted a small footprint massage chair that would do a decent job. One of the best features of this chair is that the neck massager can be adjusted up or down to hit just the right spot. I'm 5"4" and the back massager doesn't cover my whole back from low spine to shoulders. But I didn't expect any massage chair would without paying a hefty price for a very large chair. I can easily adjust my body position by sitting on a pillow to hit my low back and then recline the chair to hit my upper back. Adjusting my arm position also allowed the massager to hit the spots under my shoulder blades. Just expect that you will need to make your own body adjustments, but I don't mind sitting in the chair for a longer massage period to get all spots. I prefer to use the back massager with the padded liner but the neck massager without the padded cover. Each to her own. Other reviewers have commented on the hard arm rests but they don't bother me at all. The one thing I don't care for is the vibrating seat. Vibration without massage doesn't do much for me. I've had the chair for about five months and the seat cushion is squashed down so the mechanism is poking up and a bit uncomfortable. I just keep a cushion over the seat. The chair does need to be plugged into a wall socket but the cord is very long. While the chair is movable, I get my husband to move it more than a couple of feet because it is a bit too heavy for me at 60 years old. I would buy it again, but if I wanted to pay more I would go for a stationary chair with a fuller massage experience.

The COMFIER Shiatsu Back and neck Massager is ready for use out of the package, which comprises the massager, the adapter and the manual. it is not very heavy (around 15 lb) but looks and feels solid built. The best place to fit this massager in is the office chair or a chair that has long back rest. I like that the massager has a strap such that it could be fixed to the back rest of the chair. It comes with a seat cushion. It also comes with a removable back flap, and if you need a powerful and intense back and neck massage, leave the flap. You can turn on the back massager and neck massager in the meantime. However, I do not suggest you do that if you intend to have the neck and the lower back massaged at the same time because you need to rest your neck back such that it could massage your neck, but it will somehow lead you lower back away from the back massager. The back massager has both shiatsu and rolling functions. I found out that the shiatsu function is quite strong, as compared to the rolling, thus 99% of the time I use shiatsu. A good feature is that you could adjust both the neck and back massaging positions. I suggest turning on both heating feature and vibration feature when you have it shiatsu massage your back, which I found vey very helpful in relaxing your back. To summarize, the massager is light but solid built, it has very strong shiatsu massage function, the massage position is adjustable, and it has the massage + heating +vibration in combo with gives the user the ultimate relaxing experience.

The Comfier Shiatsu Back Massager has quite a few features and is so easy to operate. Just plug it in, secure it to your chair with the back strap, and it's ready to go. On the attached remote - which does not require batteries - you can choose between shiatsu, rolling, and spot massages. You can also choose the area to focus on (full back, lower back, upper back, or spot - choose your own!), with or without heat. You can also select a separate (or simultaneous) neck massage with or without heat, and choose the direction of the neck massage. Lastly you can also select from several options of the vibrate feature, which feels extra relaxing. I work from home, but rarely ever use my desk chair. This mat is going to change that. I'll actually look forward to sitting in my chair to do work! While it is a bit heavy to carry around, it's still portable enough that you can place it in any number of seats - or even your car, I would imagine. I highly recommend this product.

Hit the 2 year mark and it gave up the ghost. I have used this less than 20 times over the last 2 years. A year ago it started making a clicking noise at the top and bottom of the track so I stopped using the full back function and only used the spot. Last night it stopped working completely after 15 mins and the app won’t even see it.
