More clearance, more aggressive. Mission accomplished.
Installed the Nilight Off-Road Fender Flares on my JK, and it gave my rig that “ready to eat rocks for breakfast” look. These aren’t mall-crawler flares—they’re built for trail use and look the part. ✅ What I Liked: Solid construction – Thick, durable plastic that doesn’t feel like it’s going to snap if I brush a bush or a boulder. Extra clearance – These open up more tire space than factory flares, perfect if you're running oversized meats. Easy-ish install – Lines up well with factory holes, minor drilling if yours are stripped like mine. Aggressive look – Adds attitude without looking cartoonishly wide. ⚠️ What Could Be Better: Hardware is mid-tier – Fine if you baby it, but I recommend grabbing stainless bolts and washers to avoid rust down the road. Instructions could be clearer – Not rocket science, but not IKEA-easy either. Watch a YouTube video and you’re golden. No inner liners – If you're ditching your factory flares, plan to fab or buy inner splash guards. 🔧 Real-World Use: Been through mud, gravel, and tight forest trails. They flex just enough to survive, and they don’t catch every twig like my old flares did. They also block a surprising amount of mud from hammering my side windows. ⭐ Final Verdict: If you want rugged fender flares that look mean and handle abuse, Nilight nailed it. They're affordable, tough, and trail-tested. Just bring a better wrench set and a little patience, and you’ll be looking trail-ready by sundown.

Don’t be scared just drill the holes
The fender flares look great on my 98’. I haven’t had any problems with rust or other wear. It would be nice if all the holes lined up with the stock fender mounting location but for the price who cares. They are well worth it and cheap enough to just replace if they get damaged. If I feel up to it and get tired of the included self tappers then I will drill holes and install rivnuts but thats overkill

Fenders
These were better than I thought, fit and alignment was perfect. It’s was one person job and took about an hour to install. Finish was flawless and the hardware was good quality.

Simple install, looks great!
Bought these to replace stock fenders on 2015 JKR (2 door). Very happy with this purchase. Well packaged and easy to unbox. Included hardware was also well packaged and organized. Included directions, which weren’t complicated - the install is very straightforward. My Jeep was in a minor fender bender before I bought it. No visible damage, other than super minor on the stock fender. After removing the stock fender flare, you could see a small dent on the front area. I thought I might need to pop it out but figured I’d test fit first. Amazingly, this new flat fender went on without any repairs. I’m not even going to bother as you can’t see it and it didn’t impact fitment of these flares. For install, I used a 13mm to hold the nut in the small gap behind the body panel. But, I ended up just sliding my fingers up to start the threading as I felt like it was faster to do it by feel. Do not tighten any of the bolts - just get them started. This allows you to adjust to easily line up remaining bolt holes. Once you have all bolts installed, go back and tighten them all. No joke, this install might have been less 2 hours total (20 min each?). I didn’t time it and overall project included fender removal and fender liners. Thought I might need husband to help as an extra pair of hands (at least with getting first bolt in) but, it really wasn’t necessary. He was on standby but this is a simple one-woman install. I did not use the self-tapping screws on the rear. I may go back and do that but I felt like they were a tad longer than needed and I didn’t want to worry about what was behind the panel as well as mess with having to go back and paint over them (they are brass). Used the two provided bolts and some extra 3M tape for now. Took her down the highway and down rough beach road - no rattle so I’ll leave it as is. Might change my mind after the first off-road trip but works for now. Pleased with the overall results. Crazy simple install. NOTE: I am buying 2” flat side marker lights to mount on the old bracket to 1, give the bracket purpose (and cover) and 2, find a better mounting point than zip tying the OEM side lights to the front corner. Thought about just leaving the OEM unplugged for a cleaner look but figured I had them and could make it work, so I mounted them in the front corner with zip ties for now. Didn’t consider any of this (side lights) in advance so noting here for others.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Automotive girl here...These fit perfectly. I really appreciate when a seller knows their product and what autos they will fit on. Thank you. Install was quick and easy.

Does not fit properly......
These fender flares do not line up with the Jeep Jl fender holes where the factory push pins were removed. Holes do NOT line up. The plastic rivets are useless. The fender flares do not fit snuggly against the Jeep fenders, and have gaps on the curved part. I had to do fabrication to make the fit and used 3/4" wood screws to attach them, spray painted the screw heads to hide them, and then used black hot glue( hot glue gun), to seal the gaps.
