I have extremely sensitive, allergy prone, mature skin so was concerned about using this cleansing oil. I am new to the ‘double cleansing’ method of skin care but have fallen in love with it and this beautiful cleansing oil. It is light, hydrating but cleans effectively as my first step in cleansing. My makeup removes easily and once I add water to it, the oil emulsifies and cleanses wonderfully. My skin is not irritated and is left super soft. The Heartleaf in the oil just does something truly lovely to my skin…there is a brightness to it. The scent is light and fresh with a mint/eucalyptus aroma. It too does not bother my sensitive allergies. I have begun using all of the Anua products and find them high quality and high performing at an excellent price point. The pump packaging is excellent and convenient to use.

Great oil cleanser , no smell , leaves your skin after very smooth and hydrated before the actually cleansing process .

I bought this when it was on sale for $11 & figured I’d give it a try. I used it for about a week & didn’t see much difference. I still kept using it & noticed as I was massaging I felt little grains. I looked at my hands & saw little black dots. As I looked closer I realized they were little blackheads purged from my face. (Which I didn’t even know I had because they weren’t visibly big ones) In the beginning I wasn’t washing my face first. Once I washed my face first then dried & massaged the oil that’s when I noticed it working. I’m not sure if this had anything to do with it but I’m happy with the results.it has a tea tree scent to it so not unpleasant. If it were less expensive I would give it 5 stars as it has now gone back to its regular price of $17.

Not for my skin , I have periodontal dermatitis and this irritates my skin but it was worth a try. Overall the product is good but not for me. Thank you

This product is the skincare version of a toxic relationship. You know how you’re with something that clearly isn’t good for you, but instead of blaming it, you start questioning everything else? Maybe it’s your diet. Maybe it’s stress. Maybe it’s you. That’s exactly how this cleansing oil treated me. On paper, it looks perfect. “Mild.” “Sensitive skin.” “Non-comedogenic.” “Fragrance free.” All the green flags. So when my skin started acting up, I kept giving it another chance. I stopped other products. Simplified my routine. Made excuses for it. Every time I finally stopped using it, my skin would calm down and start healing. And then somehow, my own delusion would convince me to go back. Surely this time it would work. Surely this time it wasn’t the problem. Until one day I truly let go. And once I did, it became painfully obvious. My skin improved, the irritation stopped, and I couldn’t believe I stayed so long trying to make something work that was quietly wrecking my face. If you have sensitive or reactive skin, don’t ignore the signs. Some relationships look good on paper but are bad in practice.

As someone with dry, mature, and sensitive skin, I love this cleanser. I have purchased three times and will continue to use. If you are a heavy makeup wearer, you may need another remover prior to cleansing, but I still give it 5 stars. It leaves my skin moisturized, no irritation, and smaller pores over time.

Wonderful Facewash.

My skin type is normal-oily and I get frequent white head breakouts and usually have blackheads on my nose. I wear makeup daily. THIS CLEANSER IS MY RIDE OR DIE. It completely melts away my makeup first cleanse, but I do it twice just to make sure. It has an oily consistency and then when mixed with water it becomes milky. My skin feels clean but not in a dry right way, like how my skin should ACTUALLY feel after a cleanse. Absolutely recommend to anyone, have never had a bad reaction from it. Even when my skin is super irritated or has an open wound. If you’re not sure on what to buy for a cleanser, try this out for sure

I used micellar water for years to remove my makeup but decided to change and try this instead. Much more effective, gentler on my skin and less drying.
