My son was so excited to receive this yoyo for Christmas. It was one of his most wished for things he asked for. Unfortunately it broke within a month. The screw holding it together appears to be stripped because it will not screw back together. He's only 10 so he is very upset about this. I would not buy him the same replacement at a cost of over $30 considering it only lasted a month. I have contacted the company and will update if they will send a replacement or offer a refund. UPDATE: The company does not stand by their product. The told me the stripped screw was user error and instructed not to screw together too tightly or to use the yoyo while standing on a hard surface. They offered me the opportunity to replace the yoyo for $20+shipping. That's basically the same cost as buying another yoyo. Other reviews also mention having a stripped screw. If you look closely at the screw, you can see the screw is made with a hard metal and the part it screws into is a softer metal. Having a stripped screw is inevitable. Poor product design to make you keep buying their inferior yoyo. I will not purchase this brand yoyo again. My son can choose another brand.

This is not just a cheat code for finger spin tricks. Next to my 120 dollar Haymaker X, this is the most 'trickable' yoyo I have. Once you swap out to the unresponsive bearing that is. It doesn't have the spin time of the more expensive yoyo, but it's still respectable in the department. I wouldn't recommend it as a first yoyo for someone just starting out. Even though it's responsive out of the box, it's width (which is great for tricks) makes it a bit unwieldy for a new player. I'm still new-ish and it took me a couple of days to get used to the difference. It won't ever be my daily driver, again due to the size and the more limited spin time, but whenever I want to learn a new string trick this will be my main practice yoyo. Of course now I have to get a metal one to see if it will dethrone the Haymaker as my 'showtime' yoyo.
