CLENZOIL Field & Range Pistol Basics Cleaning Kit | Complete Handgun Cleaning Set

This is definitely pricey but you get your money’s worth! I was previously using random Amazon brushes and cleaning kits but I liked the idea of having this little tool you can grip to attach your cleaning rods too. Let me start by saying all of the tools are WEIGHTY. I was surprised by the cleaning rod as I’m used to using the cheap chinesium brass rods, it sure where this is made but it’s great quality. It’s also modular too, you can take out the plastic holder and place additional things in the bottom for additional calibers for storage. Very compact too, this can easily fit in a range bag but just be cautious because the outside is plastic and may break, but you have the option. I haven’t used it yet but I’m sure this will definitely last longer than my other no name cleaning tools. I may consider the .22 and or the multi caliber one next. As I said pricey but if you clean your guns often I’m sure it will be much easier having good quality items. 10/10 would recommend.

Great size and well organized. Great price and I like that it comes with a small bottle of oil. It's much easier to work from a small kit dedicated to the caliber of the firearm I'm cleaning.

Some pistols or revolvers will need specialized tools not included in this general-purpose cleaning kit. It's compact and works well for its intended purpose. Most people would be happy with only a bronze bore brush and a slotted jag plus a generous supply of cleaning patches. This goes in my range bag to punch my bore before and after firing. The bore mop, nylon bore brush and brass jag are useful, too--and I add in cotton swabs, pipe cleaners, gun rag (silicon cloth), and canned air plus the specialized tools a specific gun needs for disassembly and reassembly and sight adjustment. I didn't expect the proper magazine loader for my pistol in this kit--just a basic rod for clearing stuck cartridges and bore obstructions, a bottle of gun oil and a means to clean the bore quickly in a compact storage case. Even though I add things to this kit, it's all that's needed for pistol maintenance--and more complete than most kits.

Nice kit, but you need more. Not as many patches as you would expect. You need to order a package of additional patches and swabs. No swabs included. You will also want a brush set. I used standard qtips with this and a tooth brush. But now I have it all. Also the quantity of swabs included will run out long before the included clp.
