Not Functional
This works well for what it's meant for. The plants on my porch are doing great and I just have to fill a bucket occasionally.However. The tubing that comes with this is intentionally between sizes of other standardized systems in an attempt to force your to purchase their specific and get over priced expansion kit.Had I known that up front I never would have ordered it.Update 9/23/24The unit will no longer pressurize when it starts pumping. It beeps and goes to idle. I have confirmed in is not clogged, connected correctly, and was functional in the same state yesterday. Since there is not a trouble shooting guide or any real customer service in existence I have to assume it is dead and a waste of money. Moving review to 1 star.

So far so good. Fantastic
Recently picked up this very cool drip system for 3 Montmorency Cherry trees I planted that were just far enough away from a water source that keeping them well hydrated for the first few years would be a pain. Trees are spaced 20’ apart with a 30 gallon barrel at the highest point. The thought we would only have to refill the barrel once a week and not water the trees every day made it worth the risk in the event it didn’t work. Much to my surprise it worked flawlessly. I’m not sure how many feet you could run one of these out and I’m sure the downhill setup that I have makes it easier on the pump but I will 100% be buying more of these in near future for other trees I have planted and will be planting around our farm . One negative I will say is I ordered additional tubing at the same time and it did not fit tight enough to get a good vacuum on the pump side or fit any of the T fittings. It would be nice if they sold their hose separately OR in longer sections with the kit. All in all fantastic little setup if anyone knows the struggle of getting new trees in the ground.

Neat little system. Added update
I got this to automate watering my patio plants from a rain barrel while I travel. So far so good. It's a complete system and enough for a small run but my reservoir is a bit further away so I added a longer feed line to reach my plants.A great way to utilize collected rain water to use while minimizing city water usage and presents less risk of wasting expensive water use vs an always-on hose.Edit/add: I've had the chance to use it more and like it even better.I have it connected to a rain water collection system I'm building. So far it is fantastic and trickles water slowly foe a long period of time. While everyone has different needs and my system is still in development it might be important to mount the main unit in a spot that does not inhibit siphoning.I have a lot of area/length and plants to hydrate so I am considering getting few more of these to not only extend the reach but provide some redundancy.Overall really pleased.

Saved my plants..until it stopped working
I’m giving it 4 stars because it saved my plants when I went out of town for a long vacation and we had a drought. I had it running for trial a couple weeks prior to leaving in order to gauge how well it would work as well as how much water I would need for the duration of my trip. It ran on schedule every time and had no problems.Since getting back it’s been very heavy rains most days so I’ve had it turned off. Today I tried to turn it back on and it won’t run. It just beeps and says “idle”. It figures that when I’m going out of town again and need it… it stops. And of course it’s past the 30 days for return. I guess I’ll have to figure out how to get it running again on my own… :/EDIT: 10/20/24 - forgot to come back to update. I never got this to work again, as even after trying to clear the pump with water jets it seems nothing was clogging it. Later I found condensation in the LCD screen, telling me there was loose water inside the unit. So basically, the heavy rains we had got inside the controller unit and shorted it out. If using this outside, be careful about placing the controller somewhere protected from rain… :(

It doesn't work.
It almost works. The solar panel works, the pump works but the timer unit does not work. And there is nothing you can do to get it to work. 1) The dial is poorly constructed so that it doesn't lock into place and if the dial isn't perfectly centered the unit will turn off. 2) The timer will activate the pump once and then never work again. So, you set the time for the pump to go off and it goes off at the right time but then never ever will it activate again until you reset the system. 3) Inadequate and poor instructions. There are no videos or PDF showing how to program the unit. It is all trial by fire.My speculation is that the company (based out of China) purchased OEM a whole bunch of controller boards that were meant for another purpose but could not be programmed to activate more than once. The company decided to manufacturer a product that would fool enough people to get good reviews and sell as many of these products as possible and then just change the name of the product and sell them again.
