After a couple of months use. A speaker with crystal clear audio for music and movies that goes satisfyingly loud for its size without distortion. The battery lasts ages and you can just pick it up and take it with you. I set the EQ in the app to bass off, bass on and another reviewers beast mode. Now the 3 settings are stored in the speaker and I don't need the app anymore. Having 2 of these the TWS mode works great and adds a real extra quality to the sound. Using 2 of these for a movie on netflix means you'll probably never use your tablet or phone speakers again. (I highly recommend this) But this is still a 5 star speaker if you just get 1. Once paired once as soon as you switch them both on they pair automatically and tell you which is left and right channel and with 1 click of a button they both switch to party mode and play the same instead of stereo. The EQ settings also sync so one press of the EQ button on either changes them both. Overall it's not supposed to replace a high end home audio system but for quality and versatility at this price I can't think of any negatives to say.

Small, waterproof, no connection issues, great sound and bass for the size, fantastic battery life, solid build, has AUX 3.5 mm input jack and an app for additional settings & equalizer. Been my travel companion ever since I bought it.

Huge sound from such a small form factor speaker, the device was easy to pair with both my phone and Amazon Echo. I was impressed to purchase another speaker so that I could pair them for stereo sound when outside for BBQ's etc, the speaker is stereo anyway unlike others which instead provide a pseudo stereo effect. Very well built, perhaps a little heavy compared to some, but feels sturdy and rugged. Pleased it also has an auxillery in port, meaning I can plug in another device, in my case an audio interface which is used in conjunction with my portable studio and midi recording setup. An SD card or usb port for playing music from a storage card would have been nice, but you can't have everything!

The Tribit XSound Plus 2 has potential, but the stock sound really let me down. Bass without EQ is weak, flat and has no softness at all. And when you slightly boost the lows, it starts making that weird “knocking” noise, like someone knocking on a door instead of giving a clean punch. XBass doesn’t help either — the speaker hits its limits almost instantly. The highs are sharp enough to stab your ears, mids are ok, vocals sound also ok. it does get loud. What really saves this thing is the Android app. It’s packed with features, stable, and the EQ lets you squeeze decent sound out of it — but you really have to spend time tweaking. I love the option to save your own EQ profile — I use it constantly and it genuinely improves the experience. Huge plus for being able to disable auto‑off. On the previous model it drove me insane because the speaker kept shutting down too fast. Here it works perfectly. battery: No complaints at all. The battery is fantastic — it plays for a very long time and I barely think about charging it. Build quality is solid. I don’t need crazy dust or water resistance, so for me it’s totally fine. A few ideas that could seriously improve this speaker: - Bigger body and better acoustic design - a slightly longer, taller and deeper enclosure - two bigger mid‑bass drivers - angled for better stereo separation - plus two one‑inch tweeters for cleaner highs More EQ presets One preset is just not enough. A few more would make switching between genres much easier. Fix the bass the current bass distorts way too fast it lacks softness and control XBass doesn’t fix it you have to spend a lot of time in the EQ to make it sound right The speaker fires straight into your chest when it’s lying flat. A small adjustable stand would be great — right now I’m using shaped foam just to angle it toward my ears.

This portable speaker rivals some of the leading brands. It gives bass and very crisp sound quality.

This is my second purchase, to have full stereo from two speakers. My original review is below. Once I'd understood the instructions for setting the two speakers up I was delighted with the sound. A single speaker is fine but two are five times better! You could pay a lot more for a single speaker but I doubt if the audio quality would be as good. Being so small, it's easy to experiment with the speaker placement to get the best stereo for the room. Highly recommended! Original review: Unpacked it, downloaded to app, paired it with my phone, switched on opened Spotify, selected a song and was blown away by the full and well balanced sound. The reviews that attracted me to it were spot on. It's easy to select standard EQ profiles and to create your own. It has a huge amount of bass available, which is not what I want personally. I soon reduced it and there is still a satisfyingly warm bass, with pleasing mid range and treble. It is way better than expected for such a small unit.

The device delivers exceptional sound quality, despite its compact form factor. Its construction is robust and reliable.

I use this speaker almost everyday, for a couple of hours, and only have to charge it every so often. The sound is great, but I don’t have anything to compare it to really. First Bluetooth speaker I’ve ever had. I like the easy to use app. Sometimes it gets disconnected somehow, and it’s a pain to hook back up, but that’s because I’m really not that tech savvy. If you are, it would be a piece of cake. It’s a good size. Small, but mighty. I like the equalization sounds on it as well. Looks great and sounds even better. Very nice speaker for the money. I thought it sounded just as good as my friend’s Bose.
