This crochet kit was good quality and came with enough extra yarn to make a couple extra baby chicks and egg shells! The pattern was easy to follow and the results were cute! It was well worth the price.

Obsessed with this kit! Yarn is wonderful and soft. So easy to work with and great instructions. Only comment is that the stitch names are simplified. For example, instead of double crochet, it says stitch two single crochets into one. Which is not bad and helps with beginners. But over all it was quick and fun!! Only wish that the brand had more patterns and kits

PROS: I’m still relatively new to crocheting and this particular set was extremely easy to follow with easily manageable yarn whereas I had a difficult time following the instructions from other crochet kits previously purchased on Amazon. I was able to make both the baby chick and chicken mama within a few days while on vacation. The set includes extra yarn to which I was able to utilize to make personal tweaks, despite possibly using extra yarn in my projects, I was still left with a decent amount of yarn. CONS: Only thing I would say that needs improvement is the formatting of the instruction videos. They’re segmented clips divided into 10 or more videos, I would prefer for the instructions to be formatted into a single long format video with highlighted markings to indicate specific instructions on each sectioned row. Often times I had to refresh the webpage because I ran into playback issues with the videos the more I progressed along which was kind of cumbersome since I had limited access to wifi. Overall, I would give this kit 10/10 for its price point, quality of materials, quantity of materials and straightforward/easy to follow video instructions in english. This definitely beats other competitors currently on the market! Too bad they only have this one kit available, I will definitely be keeping an eye out in the future for more releases from this brand!! Would highly recommend this for beginners who are wanting to learn the basics of crocheting and need introductory lessons for starting out. EDIT: I ended up using the excess yarn to make an oversized egg coaster! Definitely enough yarn was provided to make another crochet project that fits the chicken and egg theme, super pleased with the outcome of these projects.

All in all, this was a solid kit. I've never crocheted before and wanted something easy but cute. It came with all the pieces needed and I was able to follow along for the most part. It lost a star due to some issues with the instructions: 1. Video for chick for round 11 is incorrect - it repeated round 10. I had to use the written instructions for the instructions for 11. 2. For egg top, it says "This is the bottom half of the egg." Small typo and not a huge deal. For the written instructions, I wish each round that repeated had its own line and checkmark. It was really handy using it to keep track of each round so when it put multiple rounds under one "checkmark," I had to keep track manually. If I had any experience, I believe I would have understood immediately but as a beginner, these small issues hindered me just a bit. Perhaps there are easier ways to do everything but I did my best as a beginner. :) Overall, this was a great beginner kit, and had easy instructions. I loved how this kit had 3 different projects and could dabble with the easiest and work my way up to the chicken.

Love love love this kit. It’s super Cute and easy to follow the videos. I wish There were written directions as well so that I didn’t have to give my daughter my phone to watch the videos. But the kit is high quality and adorable.

Absolutely adorable kit! The instructions were super easy to follow, and when I got confused the videos taught me exactly what I needed to know to finish the project! This is the third time I've tried to learn how to crochet and it's the very first time I've finished a project! There's enough yarn to do another egg at least, if not another hen. The crochet hook and stitch markers feel great too.

I’m giving this kit 3 stars for the quality of the materials. The yarn they include is excellent for beginners because it doesn’t unravel and it allows for clean stitch counting. However, I was wholly unable to make this figure. I watched the video and could make a magic circle without issue, but NO ONE — in any video I’ve found — EVER explains how to make the first stitch onto it. They just start stitching…! And somehow whenever someone crochets on video, it’s like they become the Flash! I’m inevitably left going “Whaaat? Wait. Whaaat!?” Rinse and Repeat for hours. I must have tried 20 different videos online to learn how to do this project and I’m not an idiot. I knit. I’ve done crochet edges on my blankets, no problem! But somehow this magic circle stitch is beyond me. You might as well ask me to build you a great pyramid. This was so disappointing. Everyone else’s reviews make it seem like this was *so* easy and their little animals come out perfect. I couldn’t make one stitch. In hours. I repeat, in MANY HOURS I couldn’t make ONE stitch. Maybe I’m just a hands-on learner and I need to sit with someone who can smack my hands with a ruler to stop me doing the wrong thing with them? I can’t learn this from a video…clearly. I don’t let things beat me often…but this beat me. I’m so depressed about it. It’s more than making a stupid animal, the inability to do something children (and apparently *everyone* else who has bought this kit) can do is a real blow to the ego. I’m going to look up a knitting/crochet group and see if I have more luck with an actual in-person instructor. These videos aren’t cutting it.

This kit is amazing! It has everything you need and the video instructions are so well done and easy to follow. I’m making these for my little cousins and I’m so happy with how they turned out!
