Very nice unit excellent price, i added the ten thousand watt reostat here, which allows for full speed adjustment, it fit my original style HF blast cabinet from the early 2010s the fully welded model prior to the screw together style, it makes a huge difference from using a vortex and shop vac, I did note the included instructions recommend not using it with silica based media, which made me scratch my head since glass bead is technically silica and many industrial cabinets or even cheap harbor freight ones are gonna use that type of media at some point.. This leads me to believe.You may need a pre filter.. But the vortex will fit in the cabinet.So maybe that would make a good pre filter.Who knows for the price?Just run it.And if it burns out, it burns out.

This product is great. It works as advertised. The assembly instructions are a little sketchy and they seem to have modified the design since they wrote them. I did not have any trouble with holes lining up as some people had. There was not any dust leaking from anywhere. I did rig a shop vac filter to the hole in the back which I assume the dust collector that they sell is installed. I would give it 5 stars except for the assembly instructions. I'm including some pictures of my modifications if anyone is interested.

I almost didn't buy this dust collector because of all the conflicting reviews but I'm glad I did. Shipping was a few days faster than advertised which was nice. I mounted this dust collector on a Harbor Freight blast cabinet. The existing hole in the cabinet was an exact fit for the dust collector. I only needed to drill four holes in the cabinet to get it 100% mounted. I think I only spent 10 minutes getting it installed and I was up and running. It works perfectly. I only have a few hours on it so far but it works great. I was using a 5hp Shop Vac for two years and this works better by far. It is easier to reclaim blast material out of the dust collector. A Shop Vac is about the same price as this dust collector. Other reviewers complain about noise. It is loud but not unusually loud for a vacuum/ dust collector used in industry. My 5hp Shop Vac was just as loud as is every other Shop Vac I ever used of that size. I always used hearing protection before and I do need to now with this dust collector. It is loud but that is how this type of equipment is. I sand blast as part of my business and do it many times a week hours at a time. I don't have an issue with this unit. We'll see how long it lasts. I'm happy with it. Contrary to other reviewers I think installation was fast and simple, noise level is typical, and performance for the size and price point is in line with what you get.

Came in with minor damage. a few bent corners, a little scratched paint, and NO instructions. Had to watch the video on the amazon page. Kinda like an IKEA blast cabinet. Lots of little screws. Majority of the holes in the panels were too small for the screws provided so had to drill most of them out a couple sizes larger. BUT, it works, which I guess is the most important part. I just connected a shop vac to the vent which did help with visibility while blasting. It DOES leak some blast media even after sealing off all seams with silicone, but not enough to be an issue. Does NOT come with enough hardware to complete assembly, will require a trip to the hardware store to complete. Decent buy for blasting smaller parts. No real complaints.

Zero thought design makes you wish you had just built your own. How loud is it? You will go deaf without hearing protection-that loud. So loud you won't want to turn it on. You shouldn't have to wear hearing protection to sandblast parts. Doesn't even mate up with their own 40gal cabinet so you end up with two extra pressure ports that serve no function. Terrible assembly process drilling a 2" hole in the side of thin sheet metal. It's huge. It functions but in my opinion stuff like this shouldn't even be allowed to be sold.

Sharp looking once assembled. Be ready to attach and tighten ALOT of fasteners. Instructions were easy to follow and the end result doesnt disappoint. Not sure of nozzle quality yet but it comes with a few attachments.

Works great overall! I do recommend ordering smaller blasting heads if you plan to use fine media — about 1/8 inch is ideal and smaller than the four heads included. I also bought the dust removal add-on, and I consider it a must-have upgrade. The built-in light works only intermittently and is far too dim, so I added an external LED work light on top of the viewing window for better visibility. The window seal also didn’t seal well out of the box, but applying painter’s tape around the outside fixed that issue effectively. Both the pickup and air hoses could be better quality. I plan to replace the pickup hose with a stiffer one that won’t crimp, since the kinks slow media flow (though it still works). The air hose connects with a metal clamp on a barbed fitting, which I’ve had to retighten several times—perhaps a sturdier hose would allow a more secure fit. I always disconnect the air supply when leaving the shop, just in case the nozzle hose at the gun it starts leaking again. If your compressor doesn’t already have moisture control/filtration, you’ll definitely want to add it. I picked up a 4-stage desiccant filter for under $100, and it works great. Final Note. I have purchased several products from VEVOR and despite a few issues (like those above) I feel the price and basic quality more than makes up for you for any small issues I have to fix.

Producto de malisima calidad. Golpes por mal embalaje , instrucciones pesimas,los guantes no son del diametro de su alojamiento. Producto chino de muy muy mala calidad. No se gasten el dinero en esta basura.
