I was a loyal customer to a popular 5 letter toothpaste for my ENTIRE life. I take great care of my teeth by brushing twice a day and flossing and using mouthwash. I assumed that natural meant an awful taste. I was very wrong because Spry tastes spectacular! A fresh minty flavor that is not overpowering but still refreshing and effective was a great surprise!! I’ve been going to the same dentist office for at least 20 years. I recently needed to see a dentist in a different state and the only one that my states insurance would cover is a school/teaching clinic. They are VERY thorough about checking your entire mouth (gums, teeth, X-rays, tooth strength etc). The dental student doctor reports to the doctor so I’m getting the best care and the newest treatments. They found 2 tiny cavities that were thought to be staining (I drink unsweetened iced tea all day). Appx 15 years ago, my dentist put a coating over my teeth to protect them against cavities. They usually only give it to children but I begged for it. I’ve been buying a toothpaste that is made to keep my gums healthy. That’s all a marketing tactic and is actually very harsh on the teeth. It’s causing my teeth to almost shred and eating the enamel. I was so upset because I thought I was doing everything the right way. My dentist and the teacher gave me a list of all natural toothpaste and mouthwash products. I was a bit overwhelmed and the teacher recommended the Spry Xylitol Toothpaste 5oz, Fluoride Free Toothpaste above all else. I ordered a 2-pack as soon as I got home. I also got the mouthwash and even the gum. We only get one (natural) set of teeth, so take care of them as best as possible. Don’t fall for the marketing tricks of the top tooth care companies. The chemicals are doing more damage than anything they claim. The value for the money and effectiveness is priceless; it also helps to whiten (especially when added to the mouthwash). Definitely a happy accident that I went to a teaching clinic or else I would never have been told about the benefits of the flouride-free products. I’m so thankful that I’m now on the right path and that starts with my Spry toothpaste. Way to go Spry. I’m a convert to natural products for my mouth. Hopefully the damage will be able to reverse itself by regular use and cleanings. I’m so happy to have the knowledge of how to truly take care of my teeth and with the right products!

I researched how xylitol is so beneficial and decided to try this. I'm hooked!!! What a great clean and tastes wonderful!!! I'll never go back to the everyday toothpastes. This is so much better!

This is the only toothpaste I will use. It cleans well and I love that it is fluoride free.

I love Spry Xylitol products. This toothpaste tastes great (kind of like the green dinner mints you find at weddings) and isn't too strong. At roughly $4.50 a tube it is on the more expensive side of toothpaste, but I enjoy the xylitol in it and am happy to pay a little extra for that added benefit. As a dental professional, I recommend this product as an additional preventative method against cavities. Xylitol is a natural sugar alcohol that cannot be digested by most bacteria in the mouth. Consuming xylitol limits the growth of bacteria in the mouth, which reduces the amount of acid left behind by bacteria. Less bacteria=less acid=reduced chance of decay forming (cavities). HOWEVER, It is important to note that in order to get the FULL anti-cavity benefit from xylitol, you have to use xylitol products correctly and consistently over a period of time. Recommended dose for highest anti-cavity benefit: 6-10grams/day, administered 3-5 times. One Spry mint = 0.5 grams xylitol One piece of Spry gum = 0.72 grams xylitol One gram toothpaste = approximately 0.25 grams xylitol (minimum). At least 25% of the weight in Spry toothpaste is xylitol, (roughly a minimum of 36 grams xylitol in an entire tube (144g) of toothpaste. 36/144=.25g xylitol per 1g toothpaste) **Most people do NOT use an entire gram of toothpaste when brushing, 0.25 grams is considered a "pea sized" amount of toothpaste. If I had to guess most people would average around 0.5-0.7 grams of toothpaste each time they brushed, since most people tend to use more toothpaste than recommended.** Taking the above numbers into consideration, it would be extremely hard to get to the 6-10grams recommended daily. Brushing twice a day with Spry toothpaste (0.50g), eating two Spry mints (1g), and chewing two pieces of Spry gum (1.44g) in one day doesn't even make it to 3 grams of xylitol (roughly 2.94). That's even calculating toothpaste at 1 gram per brushing, which is an excessive amount of toothpaste. I am telling you this to be aware that in order to have anti-cavity protection from this product, as seen in studies, it is recommended to have 6-10grams xylitol per day. Consuming less xylitol will provide some protection but in order to receive the FULL benefit to protect against cavities, you'd have to consume 6-10grams each day. Consuming higher than this level did not offer additional benefits in the studies done. Long story short, this is a great product and will provide anti-cavity benefits depending on the amount you consume/if you consume consistently. In my opinion, additional preventative measures taken are better than nothing, so even if you do not consume the recommended 6-10grams each day, using this product will still be beneficial towards maintaining great oral health. Just be aware there are specific guidelines set to achieve maximum results in preventing cavities when using xylitol! ***Any preventative measure works together with other preventative measures to help maintain optimum dental health. It is important you are doing your part brushing 2 minutes, 2 times a day, flossing daily, and maintaining regular dental visits in order to prevent decay!***

Tastes great and doesn't get too foamy which causes me to gag.

I'M EXTREMELY SATISFIED BECAUSE THIS TOOTHPASTE IS FLUORIDE FREE AND KILLS BACTERIA IN YOUR MOUTH THAT CAUSE TOOTH DECAY PLUS BUILDS ENAMEL & STRENGTHENS YOUR TEETH & AT MY AGE OF 81 YEARS OF AGE I NEED AS MUCH HELP AS I CAN. GET AFTER HAVING HORRIBLEY BAD DENTISTS CAUSING ME MUCH TOOTH DAMAGE , I SEEM TO PICK & TRUST THE WORST KIND OF DENTAL PERSONS IMAGINABLE & I'VE ALSO LEARNED A LITTLE LATE TO READ ALL REVIEWS BEFORE HAND BECAUSE NOW I'M EXPERIENCING MUCH NEEDED COSTLY REPARE WORK THAT I CANT AFFORD BUT AT LEAST I CAN START USING SOME BETTER. PRODUCTS LIKE SPRY AFTER MUCH RESEARCHING & READING MANY GREAT REVIEWS ON HOW SPRY IS A MUST NOW FOR ME ALONG WITH ADDING SOME OTHER ADDITIONAL HEALPFUL THINGS THAT CAN DO WONDERS FOR MY TEETH I DIDN'T KNOW THAT SPRY WILL HELP.
