The MOCHA flavored Starbucks Tripleshot WAS an absolute favorite of mine & served as my daily "pick-me-up" every afternoon. It was top quality & I had purchased 100+ cases over the last few years. Then it was reformulated, renamed, reduced in size by 27% (15 > 11 fl oz) & caffeine content by 36% (225 > 165mg). Plus, the cost went up, not down. I managed to make it through that change but the most recent one, (removing ALL that tasty sugar), is an absolute deal breaker for me. It no longer tastes smooth and creamy but has a consistency closer to that of water. I'm not sure what motivates a company to destroy a successful product, but I assume it was done for cost reduction solely in the interest of greater profits. For a beverage that costs over $0.27 per fl oz., it had better be top shelf quality. Especially if I'm expected to be seen holding some little, dainty 11 oz can.
