Brilliant - works well with a variety of functions
This is the only tool I found that is both a regular hedge trimmer (and mini-chainsaw) and can also be fixed on an extendable pole, which means it's much less unweildy than a hedge trimmer attached to a telescopic pole even if it's not extended. I got it to replace an old Bosch trimmer that struggled with even thick twigs, so I was worried if the cutting capability was going to be sufficient for my evergreen hedge and various other shrubs. I needn't have been concerned - it's great and manages quite thicks stems easily, so I can really cut back my hedges comfortably now. When using the telegraphic pole it can feel a bit heavy, but if you're cutting the top of a hedge you just rest it horizontally and run it along. The tools themselves aren't that heavy and the battery is detached and fixed to the bottom of the pole, so that's even less weight at the cutting end. The chainsaw is decent too - easily coped with a 4cm branch and probably could do much more if needed. The battery life seems really good too.

Brilliant for DIY gardening
Brilliant set of tools for cutting hedges, trees and bushes. Easy to put together. Charging was good and battery lasted enough to finish off cutting very tall hawthorn trees, willow and plum, as well as cutting back a high buddliea, so the reach was great. Perfect for what I needed. The chainsaw needs oil so bought a small bottle and filled the reservoir up before using. The chainsaw was handy to cut tree branches, both on the extention and hand held. Cut quality was good.Pleased I took the plunge and bought this as its saved me a lot of money not getting someone else to do it. I'm disabled and found it easy to use, although holding the extention pole for a long time I couldn't do, however it wasnt as heavy as I thought it would be. Overall, I think the price, money saved and the tools doing their job was well worth getting. I've stored it in a shed in the box, but the battery and charger I keep indoors.

Good product but you need to be physically fit to wield it as an extended pole trimmer/cutter.
Functional, easy to use, easy to change configuration including battery removal. As others have said, the fact that the motor is at the business end for both trimmer and saw means that the use of the extendable pole is very hard work on the arms and shoulders. No harness so this is a tool for occasional use only, in short bursts, by the physically fit. All-in-all it does what I wanted it to do, and I didn't run out of charge for the jobs. A little reminder for those not used to using a chain saw - you do need to put chain oil in the saw tool to avoid blade damage. I used to clear a narrow access lane of overhead branches up to 5cm in diameter without a problem - v little oil used, easy to see the level. And if you don't have the strength to use the pole trimmer, you really ought not to be waving a mini chain saw around.

Brilliant bit of kit
I am thoroughly impressed with this kit i already had a mini chainsaw/polesaw and this is hands down loads better it makes very light work of some thicker branches like a hot knife through butter and the hedge trimmer is perfect, these tools are not just being used in the garden either but im using them in my local community too to cut back a lot of overgrown vegetation and this has made my job so much easier, it can feel a bit weighty with the hedge trimmer on the pole but its workable it might even help tone the arms lol my only gripe is that it comes with only one battery 2 would have been better but you can buy spare batteries but they are about £35 but overall very impressed

Value for money double tool. Definitely recommend.
This is worth every penny if only for the chainsaw attachment. I have just chopped down 3 very large (15ft tall) trees and it only took about half an hour and the battery still has power left. The hedge trimmer is great and does a nice job. The only downside is that it is heavy when the pole is extended and there is no harness. Apart from this, a superb, value for money buy.

Handy, lightweight and good quality
Really handy. Lightweight chainshaw and hedge trimmer. Able to reach up to around 3meters at stretch. Feels well built. Used on several occassions now with no problems. The hedge trimmer cuts through small branches, bushes etc. The chain saw managed large branches, tree trunks and wood with ease. Note: the chain saw needs oil, which you'll need to order separately. Battery lasts approx 40 mins.

The extension pole simply does not work
Very disappointingly the extension pole just doesn't work. We bought this twice because everything else about it was exactly what we wanted - light-weight first and foremost; able to trim sides and tops of hedges. However, we really wanted something to reach high up that was light-weight and every time we attached the extension pole it stopped working. We returned the first one and ordered a replacement assuming the first was just a glitch. However, the same thing happened with the second one so we had to return it and have given up on it. We continue to look for a light-weight appliance

Good machine
Seems pretty solid and cuts well. It is heavy when extended but I have only used it a few minutes at a time
