They are wide enough to do the job. They are also tight enough to keep the lens from sliding

these are great! I wanted them to put around my water cup and drink cups that do not have a handle and they work excellent

I bought these to see if they could replace rubber bands that I had on two of my bird tube feeders. We live in the land of wind, and when it blasts out of the S or SE, the feeders bounce and the wind takes the seeds and spreads them way far away from the feeding area. I use stakes and bungee cords to anchor them, and the two oldest feeders needed a rubber band so that I could attach the bungees to them. The rubber bands would last a few days before the wind/snow/subzero cold would cause them to snap. These seemed like the perfect replacement, and yes, they work great. I'm thinking of buying some longer ones for the summer because I use a bungee/rubber band system to anchor my hummingbird feeders.

I used these bands on my recently purchased Sony 200-600 telephoto lens. Some of the reviews on the lens complained that the telephoto ring would creep while being carried. One professional photographer said he purchased a lens cove for $100 that did a fair job of stopping the lens creep. I put one band on each end of the ring and after walking for a couple of hours with the camera on a Black Rapid shoulder harness the ring hadn’t moved at all. I don’t know how long before they will need to be replaced but at this price it will not be a problem.

These are very nifty for keeping our kids new cups straight since both chose the same color cup. They’re useful for us adult too, because honestly we’ve mixed up whose glass is whose many times over the years, and we end up with more dishes to wash as a result. These bands are 8 in around, and they’re the perfect size for all of our most frequently used cups and glasses. We’ve only used them a handful of times, but they seem like they should hold up well over time!

Only received 4 of the 5 bands in the bag. One was missing.

I bought the pack of 5 even though I only needed one to hold a day planner closed . . . OOPS, there now there is only one left. They also fit my water bottle to hold my drink reminder and make it less slippery in hot weather. I will definitely buy them again.

Colorful

As usual, these bands do a great job of holding things together. I use these for the blank Derwent pen/pencil boxes, the ones with hinged lid and tray inside that come empty. These bands are the perfect size for those. Also great to use as a seal around the edge of my water bottles, for holding thick graphite crayons together, for smaller sized snack pots, very good for all these kinds of smaller items.
