We Love It!!
This is a great product at a very reasonable price. All the other crates I looked at were upwards of $80 or more. I wasn't sure about this crate because some of the reviews weren't the best. I went ahead and purchased it anyways. Great decision! I've got two 11 week old Lab/Shepard mixes and they needed to start their crate training. This crate is perfect for the two pups. We will get another once they get bigger, but it's plenty big for the two of them now. So, to address the bad reviews... They are right that is not the strongest metal I've seen. That being said, if you are starting with puppies or you have a relaxed animal it's more than adequate. If you're trying to train a full grown escape artist I'd definitely go with the more expensive options because a bigger, motivated dog could probably break it. Our little guys love it though. It's their safe spot and helps immensely with potty training. Update 12/17/2018 Our pups finally outgrew the single crate, so we just bought another. The two of them are cuddle monsters and we didn't want to separate them, but wanted them to have more room. So, we ended up taking the doors off the two long sides and used zip ties to bring the two together. We figured we were going to put them next to each other anyway, so why not. If you're careful you can take the doors off without breaking any of the hinges. The metal is kind of brittle when you try to bend it too fast and I broke the first one, but was good after that. It's a great setup and our two pups love it. Half the time we find them curled up together anyways. Again, can't say enough good things about this product. Easiest setup and breakdown ever, sturdy enough to handle 2 65 pound puppies, and the price is fantastic. Highly recommended.

It was easy to assemble
This kennel was fabulously packaged. It is so much larger than my other kennel and is made just as well as the name brand ones that I've purchased in the past. I did not see a "Handle" on the top of it, but it doesn't need one. It was easy to assemble, popped right open. Nothing bent, nothing broken, just came right up when I popped it open. Divider was inside of the kennel. Not using it however. The metal wire appears sturdy and the doors shut easily. The side door is awesome and offers an alternative exit for my pup. It is HUGE and works great with my bloodhound who stands above knee height and weighs almost a hundred pounds. This kennel would be good for German Shepherds, Large labs, rottweilers, smaller dog with pups, two small dogs, bloodhounds, pointers. I would not recommend it for an adult great dane, as the dog would have to duck to get in. A larger, custom kennel would be better for a dog of that stature. I also would not use this for a grown male mastiff, as I feel it may be too small for that size dog. I hope to enjoys years of comfort for my pooch, he and I could fit in this kennel comfortably together. I ordered the XXL crate and it shipped in two days hassle free via UPS.

small but built tough
I needed a small dog crate so I went on Amazon and looked for one. it was actually for cat the dog crate works just as well in this size is appropriate for small kitten. I ordered it and it arrived promptly as I am an Amazon prime member. The crate is assembled what is a fold up fold-down crate so when you take it out of the box you just have to unfold it and snapped in the back wall and front door. I had a bit of confusion when assembling this unit because it's advertised as a small dog great single door model, I received a double door model with a door on the front and a door on the side. usually they charge extra for the second door, so I'm not sure if this is a model change and upgrade or mistake. The grade is well constructed and fairly sturdy for its size. It also has a plastic tray to collect you know what. Since it is plastic you don't have to worry about corrosion like the older style crates. The old problem I found with this unit is the picture shows the handle on top of the crate to make it appear that you can carry crate by the handle. I found no way that I could attach the handle when the crate was unfolded, however when folded up, the handle fits perfectly and allows you to carry the crate. I would recommend using the handle to carry it when the pet is inside anyway, it is much safer to carry with both hands. I give this a four star rating and a recommended buy if you enjoyed my review or found it useful please click on the like button below. Great crate for bigger dogs!
I was really worried that this crate wasn't going to be able to withstand my husky/shepherd mix, but surprisingly enough, it does! It's big enough to provide her plenty of room to stand up, turn around and move around a little bit, and enough space for her to have food, water, and a toy in there as well. It collapses pretty easily, which is convenient in case I ever need to travel, but I'm not using it for that purpose. It came ready to go in the box, minus sliding the tray underneath and stabilizing the walls, which just get shoved into their correct spot, where there are little metal hinges that keep the walls in place. I will say, one day she did escape the crate by pushing on one of the walls hard enough to knock it out of place, so if you're worried about one of the walls collapsing, I would just stabilize it with either rope or zip ties, unless you plan on using it to travel. Even then, you can untie it or cut the zip ties off, and you would be good to go again. Clean up of the tray is very easy as it just slides right out, which is a plus. Having double-doors is convenient, but not necessary. She'll walk out of either door, but only wants to go in through one door. Although I had one incident where a wall fell through, the rest of the cage did not collapse. Even with this, I would still 100% recommend the cage, as it can hold my 70lb dog, and withstand (almost!) everything she has thrown at it. She is officially crate-trained now, so yay! Definitely a good training crate as well!

Great Crate with few flaws
So, this product was ok for what we used it for. We have a small dog and used this to make a cage the puppy could use as a bathroom as well as the dog has some issues and can not go outside. As such I cut a hole in the divider so she could get through. It also folds up very nicely for storage and transportation. The crate also has two locks on the doors. I only have two complaints, one is rather serious though as it caused injury to the puppy and is why it got a 3 star and not a 5 star: 1. The door on the longer side should be towards one end or the other, it is in the middle and makes it useless if you use the divider as it was meant to be. 2. The divider does not go to the top of the cage, in fact it leaves about a 4 inch gap at the top. This allowed our puppy to climb through it and scratched her belly. Had she been a larger dog it could have fit her head only through and would have scratched the neck area which could be very serious. That being said after discovery we used a small blanket to close this hole. Other than those two things this is a great crate for the price (attaching pictures of the crate and the injury). All that being said I found a lot of improvements that could be made but will not put those here.

A Great Crate for a Great Price!!
I am very happy with this crate! First of all I looked around at A LOT of different crates before deciding on this one. The biggest draw when I was looking was the price (which I have noticed fluctuates a lot but when I purchased was around $50 for the 42"). We needed a larger size for our bigger dog and everywhere else I looked they were much more expensive. This one had pretty good reviews but I was concerned about quality when I saw the pictures of bent bars from some of the negative reviews. I decided to go ahead with it anyway and I am so glad I did! Not only did I save a lot of money but this is a great product! It was extremely easy to set up in a matter of minutes and has the option to be folded down and carried with a handle should you need to bring it with you elsewhere. I am very surprised by the bent bars because they seem very sturdy to me. We have a puppy who isn't as strong I'm sure as some of the larger dogs that did the damage but I can't bend them when I try. As mentioned we have a puppy who will be growing quite a bit over the next few months and years. We didn't want to have to keep buying crates to accommodate his ever-growing size so having the divider that comes with this crate has been awesome! We can just block off the amount of crate we want him to have based on his size and keep moving it back as he grows. It is convenient and saves money which I am grateful for. Overall I am extremely happy with this crate and would strongly recommend it to anyone.

Don't expect your dog to stay in.
Great crate if you don't plan to leave the house! This is a photo after the 4th use. I made the dog get back inside the crate to pose for the picture. Bought it months ago in case of travel but didn't use it. But doggo all of a sudden learned to open the slide locks o. the dog door and get outside. Super great times when the doggo is just chilling outdoors waiting for you to come home. It's like 90 degrees and she doesnt have water OUTSIDE. So i was all hell yeah have this brand new crate in the basement. Keep Houdini Dog safe from dehydration and cars. Maybe the third time it's been used. Cool. So she unlatched the side door to the crate and escaped. Unlocked the slide lock and got outside again. Ok, nbd, fixed that up, secured and reinforced the side panel. Tried to go skating. This time she bent the door and frame out. The lock closures both ripped off. She somehow bent everything around so much the door was now inside the crate (was previously on the outside). She has never escaped with any of the other crates when I've remembered to latch all the closures. And she's not a big girl. Im not going to ask for a refund. I definitely don't expect a refund for "i bought this ages ago, I swear i never used it." Just want to make sure doggo's arent getting into unsafe conditions. So... don't buy this if you expect your dog to stay in it. I have to admit I can't get the door back through the opening, so it's sturdier than i am strong and you should take this review as you will. Im leaving one star not because she escaped, or was able to bend the door through the hole to the inside, or fit through the opening when only one was latched, or literally wreck the entire thing in an hour and a half. But because I have NEVER had the welds break on crate door. So if you want a crate the dog stays in, it's not this one.
