Not Thorianated - cheap copies
A simple test for a thorianated rod is that it emits radioactivity. These don’t. Tested using a calibrated industrial alpha detector and zip, zero, zilch. No Thorium and probably a low tungsten alloy as they’re also underweight.

Oxidising, can not maintain weld pool, unstable arc.
Was struggling to maintain a weld pool, electrode was oxidising very quickly. There were traces of impurities. When I tried with the electrode that came with the welder I got much better results.
