Vmaisi Magnetic Cabinet Locks for Babies (Stardand, Unit Count 4)

I installed the Vmaisi Adhesive Magnetic Cabinet Locks in our kitchen and bathroom, and they’ve been surprisingly reliable after several weeks of daily use. These are adhesive-mounted, so there’s no drilling required, and everything you need is in the box. What stands out: • Invisible design: Completely hidden once installed, so your cabinets don’t look “baby-proofed.” • Strong adhesive and latch: My toddler has pulled on these repeatedly and hasn’t defeated them yet. • Fast installation: Each lock took under a minute to mount, and the included alignment tool makes placement easier. • Built-in on/off switch: Nice for times when you want free access without removing hardware. • Magnetic dock for the key: The magnet comes with a little dock you can stick to a cabinet so there’s always a dedicated spot for it. This solves the common problem of misplacing the key. Things to consider: • If your cabinet doors are thick or uneven, you may need a little trial and error to get alignment perfect. • The adhesive has held well so far, but I can’t comment on how cleanly it will remove later. • You really want to use that magnetic dock or a designated spot for the key—it’s easy to misplace otherwise. Performance: The locks engage smoothly, release reliably, and have kept both cleaning products and snacks completely secure from my toddler. They feel sturdier than other adhesive-based solutions I’ve tried. Overall: A great option for parents who want effective childproofing without visible hardware or drilling holes. Affordable, easy to use, and the included magnetic dock is a thoughtful touch that genuinely improves day-to-day usability.

Wowww this magnetic carbine lock is fire. Easily the best one I’ve used. It’s super simple, no extra hassle, and it works exactly how it’s supposed to. I fixed mine in under 3 minutes, no joke. Everything snapped together smooth, the magnet is strong, and the lock feels solid. If you want something that’s reliable and crazy easy to install, this is the one. Highly recommend

Great and easy for daily use safety locks! Very confusing instructions for installation but once you figure them out it’s actually simple to instal!

Hidden lock!?!?! Very cool. It works really well and there's so many ways to mount them. I would recommend using the screws over just adhesive tape tho. Cabinet door no problem, sliding door no problem, Drawer no problem, anything that swings slides or opens you should be able to use these on. Perfect for keeping kids or people out but easy for you if you know what to do. I would give these about 100lbs force rating if set up properly. Obviously they are plastic so if someone wants to force them open then they probably will get thru or break the door trying.

These are perfect and in expensive. Solve problem perfectly. The option of glue or screws is awesome. The setup tool included makes it easy to use.

Using this lock to keep our beagle out of the trash can which is housed in a drawer. After trying multiple things to keep her out, I finally bit the bullet and decided it was time to drill into the cabinet. It installed quickly and easily and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. It has successfully kept her out of the trash despite her digging and scratching at the cabinet. I installed the key conveniently next to the cabinet on the front of the oven (the lock part screws in to the cabinet but the key part has a strong sticky backed holder and the magnet sits in that) The blue optional stickers come with it but I used my label maker to add “lock” and “key” so that guests could easily see how to open the trash can. The lock can also be temporarily disabled once the cabinet has been opened with a little lever that sits under the latch. We recently had a gathering at our house and all the kids enjoyed the novelty of opening the trash can. Obviously if you were using this for toddlers instead of a dog you could either leave the blue sticker off so they wouldn’t know where to hover the magnet or just place the key out of reach. Pro tip: install the lock as close as you can to the drawer or cabinet pull/knob. Otherwise it will require both hands to open the cabinet (one to hold the key over the lock and the other hand to pull the drawer or cabinet open). See video for visual.

The kit came with 4 latches and 2 magnetic locks. The install template works surprisingly well. Great concept. And the magnet used to unlock works fine so far. However, 1 of the 4 latches doesn’t pop up properly. Of course it’s one of the two I wound up installing. I can MacGiver it using the magnet to lock but it will release after a couple of tugs. So I’m giving it 75% of 5 stars and rounding down. I’m not looking forward to ripping the 3M tape to replace the malfunctioning one. Fortunately it’s on an inner surface.

Found these magnetic locks work fantastic for keeping our great grandson out of our cabinets. Easy installation and secure cabinet doors. 😁

Easy enough to install and works well! Has stayed locked when my toddler is pulling on the doors. We have it installed under our kitchen sink and the “key”/ magnet is on the window ledge above the sink. Works well for us. One comment and not a complaint, just something I didn’t think through - I was thinking of putting these in each bathroom and in the kitchen and possibly in the laundry room. But I would have to purchase more of the key magnets. It comes with a number of locks but not the key magnets of course so I just didn’t think that part through that I’m not going to run from one room to another grabbing the key when I need under the bathroom sink.

I installed these on multiple cabinets throughout my house. Works perfectly and doesn't clutter up your space with child-safety items in plain sight.
