We searched for a long time for a product that would help move a 280 lb patient in bed. Sometimes he needs to be moved up in the bed, sometimes to one side or the other. For the longest time, we used a similar fabric bought by the yard but it only worked with the strongest of assistants. The key here is the double layer of fabric and the built in handles. If you lift the top handles only, it just slides on it's lower layer like a tunnel. Now even the tiniest of assistants can move this patient. We found this size to be the best, he is 6 ft 2 in tall, as it can be lined up under his shoulders as well as his butt.

Doesn't work with my daughter, but she is larger and maybe we haven't done it right. We will keep trying. I do love the idea and have been looking for a product like this fir quite some time. What I really would like to use it for is to help get her correctly seated in her wheelchair when the is only one person here. This is what was advised by her physical therapist years ago. Any tipsin response would be great.

This product works very well for helping my brother move up in his hospital bed when he inevitably slides down a bit over time. Easy for caregiver to use...the many handles are perfect....strong and plentiful. We own two. Washable, hang to dry when needed.

This slide sheet has saved my back! I can reposition Mom on her hospital bed without assistance, which gives her more privacy and me more confidence in caring for her. The loop construction of the sheet means that it slides on itself to move a patient up and down or side to side without grabbing or yanking her physically. Excellent design!
