Smashing little kettle
Absolutely marvellous little kettle. Bought for holiday and it will fit nicely in our case with the cups all included etc. boil speed is good and such as bargain price. Easy to use. I boiled it twice as per instruction and no funny smell or taste left after . My elderly mum uses one at home because she can’t lift a big kettle. So we knew they are durable.

Initial impressions are good
Bought for use in my campervan, it's reasonably well made for a plastic kettle, no removable base and a short cable but has a level fill indicator on both sides. Maximum capacity of 0.85 litres which took about 6 minutes to boil on 240v mains, drawing 0.96 kW. Spout pours reasonably well but lid is a bit flimsy so make sure it is properly closed before pouring. Also tested on my Bluetti v100 elite with a mug full of water, approx 300 ml which took about 3 minutes to boil at 0.85 kW, using 5% of the 1024 Wh battery capacity. Some people have complained about the plasticy taste of the water, I haven't tried it yet so can't comment. I have knocked off a star for the slightly flimsy lid but overall it is a good bit of kit which uses very little power and will be ideal for off grid camping when used with the power bank. Would recommend

Great quality product.
Handy to have when travelling and on the move. Fast boil and regular noise levels. It has 2 small cups and spoons as an added bonus. Good quality.

Perfect for travel
Took this on a recent holiday and it was exactly what I needed. Small, light, and boiled enough for two cups quickly. The included cups and spoons were a nice bonus, and everything fit neatly inside the kettle for packing. Worked abroad with no issues thanks to the dual voltage. Overall, really happy with it — does the job well without taking up space and really god value for money.

Extremely slow boil on lower voltages
Bought it to take on holiday to America. It’s fairly small and compact for travel, but be warned it takes absolutely ages to boil. I suppose this is due to the lower voltage but since it said it was a dual voltage kettle I assumed it would work as normal!

Perfect for Travelling – A Handy Little Kettle!
This Russell Hobbs travel kettle has come with me on two trips so far one to a caravan park and one to a hotel and honestly, it’s been a game changer. I drink a lot of tea, and relying on hotel kettles (or worse, no kettle at all) just wasn’t working for me. This one is compact but doesn’t feel flimsy, and it boils water quickly for such a small thing. The two little cups and spoons that come with it were a nice surprise super handy and they tuck away inside the kettle itself. I also love that it’s dual voltage, so it’s one less thing to worry about when travelling abroad. Great for camping too. It’s simple, practical, and just does the job without any fuss. Would definitely recommend if you like your creature comforts when you’re away from home!

Got this to use in my car on an inverter due to it being 1000w. Takes about 5 mins to boil 2 cups of water, so is on the slow side compared to a 2000w kettle but it gets the job done.

Well made, Good original quality with Universal voltage Heats a 500 ml in about 3 minutes and 5 minutes for 800 ml The only reason for not giving 5 stars is the useless plastic cups and spoons, the cups have no label for the plastic category, therefore I won't use them specially with hot drinks, and the plastic spoons are tiny to even handle sugar or anything, ended up both cups and spoons in my toddler's kitchen set :) lols But all in all, I'd recommend this kettle for the built quality, and it's travel friendly size
