I've been using Freshfield Black Seed Oil for a few weeks now, and I'm genuinely impressed with the results. The quality of the oil is outstanding – it's cold-pressed, 100% pure, with that pepperey taste. Since adding it to my daily routine, I’ve noticed a boost in my energy levels and an improvement in my digestion and skin clarity. It also seems to help with inflammation, especially after workouts. Disappointed. After reading the reviews I expected a quality product. This is nothing like the other two black seed oils I have tried. First off, the others were to be shaken and then poured and the oil was truly black. This oil is pretty much amber colored and tastes different. I love the taste of black seed oil, and this definitely missed the mark. I was hoping for fresh (this was pressed 8 months ago) oil and quality. I can’t say why it is so clear, but hope the manufacturer will inform me. Will it have good effect? Too soon to tell, but at this point I think I will return it. By the way, I don’t know why, but the lid is extremely hard to get off and on...something is jacked up on it and I think I will provide a picture. Never ever have I seen a lid like this and why did they choose something that makes it so difficult to open? I gave two stars for the glass bottle and the fact that there was no breakage or leakage. Hoping Amazon and the manufacturer will respond to all of the above. I think I may return it. Need to know how to go about it. Update: WOW! What an amazing company! Would give more stars for their excellent customer service. They are looking into changing the lid, he explained about the lack of sediment, and although initially I was disappointed, his customer service changed how I feel about trying other products. Everyone responds to supplements differently and some have had excellent results so thus is worth trying especially because you can trust this is a conscientious manufacturer who cares about the customer. Product works best as described

This was a really good quality Black Seed Oil although not the strongest. After extensive research, I've discovered that Ethiopian Black Seeds are the strongest seeds in terms of potency and nutritional content. I've also decided to switch to the Black Seeds over the oil for internal ingestion as I believe the seeds are more potent than the oil since the oil only contains about 30% of what is inside Black Seeds. I will use the Black Seed Oil for skin, hair and other topical needs. However, FreshFields is a very good quality oil for the seeds they are using (I'm assuming Indian Black Seeds). Indian and Turkish Black Seeds are the most common seeds used in Western markets. I've been taking the product for about one month now and here are some of the benefits I've experienced. *Clear Skin - I've been battling acne since my teens, and I've finally found something that has cleared my skin. It's truly a miracle - I'm so happy with the results! Not only clear skin, but it gives the skin a glow and brighter look. It has balanced my skin tone and improved the texture. Just love it and it easily absorbs into the skin. I was a huge fan of Shea Butter until I discovered Black Seed Oil and I will no longer be using Shea Butter but only Black Seed Oil from now on for all my skin and health needs. I've heard people even use it as a toothpaste and deodorant and I'm exited to try that out soon. *Deep Sleep - I'm a light sleeper, but this black seed oil gave me really deep sleep. I wake up feeling rested and refreshed. *Improved Digestion - I suffer from severe indigestion problems and this has helped although there is still a way to go in my healing journey. *Increase Energy and Focus - I've noted an increase in energy and mental focus and clarity. I'm not as tired during the day and have more energy for the tasks I need to get done. If I couldn't find Ethiopian Black Seeds, I would definitely go with this brand because I've seen very positive results. Also, please note that you might experience detox symptoms when first starting Black Seed Oil. Not everyone experiences detox because some people don't detox because of the way their livers function, but I detox really easily. When I first started taking Black Seed Oil, I experienced an increase in acne breakouts. I was scared at first, but I pushed through and I'm so glad that I did because now my skin is clear. I also experienced severe headaches, back pain, rashes, hives, and fatigue. However, after about 2 weeks these detox symptoms have slowly disappeared. However, I'm very careful about what I eat. I notice that if I consume a highly processed or chemical laden junk food, I will start detoxing again although with not the same severity as when I first started on Black Seed Oil. Although this can be frustrating as I enjoy junk food sometimes, it helps me to limit my consumption and eat more clean and wholesome foods as I know if I don't, the Black Seed Oil will start right away with detoxing it from my body. Overall, good quality Black Seed Oil and good price.

I have been using this product for nearly a year now and have managed to try the majority of the brands available on Amazon and eBay, yet this specific brand clearly offers the highest purity and no less importantly, highest concentration product. Its Thymoquinone contents far exceed most which are around 1% or less, especially if it is NOT stated by the manufacturer. Freshfield's Black Seed oil, quoting a minimum of 1.6%, actually has closer to 4% which is the highest concentration available. It is more like a 4:1 extract than just regular oil, it may cost slightly more, but it is a LOT better than most. Some Black Seed oils on Amazon are basically a dilute of this oil, light in color and taste not like they supposed to. High quality Black Seed oil has a very specific smell and taste, almost mechanical like machine oil, but it is SUPPOSED to taste like that. I know it because I used to press my own Black Seed oil, but it actually costs more and is quite messy. I haven't been able to find another brand which comes even close to the results of my own cold pressing, some of them have no Black Seed oil in them at all! Basically, if you are reading this, and you want black seed oil for pain relief or other reasons, buy this brand, you will find no better. Return it if I am wrong, this is Amazon after all, not flea bay....

I’m usually a natural medicine skeptic, but after 8 weeks of suffering from antibiotic resistant C Diff and colitis I was desperate for a cure. I read about BSO in some medical essays and decided on this product because it has a fairly high thym. Percentage and a fair price. The color is right, the scent is powerful, the taste... well not my cup of tea. I put it inside my own capsules so I don’t have to taste it (except when I burp) and I take with food otherwise it flares up my GERD. This stuff is strong! I suppose that’s why it works! I took a medicinal dose (15ml) a day and after 36 hours of my first dose my severe C Diff symptoms started to fade. My doctor was leaning towards sending me to the ER (but didn’t want to because of covid-19 exposure) so he wanted me to try a 3rd round of antibiotics at an even stronger dose than I had been on twice before. Since I am breastfeeding I was concerned about the increased dosage affecting my child. Besides, I had already been feeling like death for 2 months, losing a drastic amount of weight, been in SEVERE pain, and emptying my bowls far too often to live a normal life. It was time to take my health in my own hands. After a week of taking this product all of my symptoms vanished. I’ve also noticed that my hormonal acne is gone. I am also falling asleep much faster and sleeping deeper. I am 3 weeks out and plan to take this as a daily supplement. I feared this was a trendy gimmic, but BSO is an ancient medicine and has been cherished for thousands of years. It’s also recognized by WHO as an affective antibiotic, anti diabetic, anti fungal, and a miriad of other cures. Definitely recommend!

I get get pass the taste of this brand. I had one before it was not that bad but this taste , But hope the benefits out ways the taste.

I read about this and wanted to incorporate it into my diet as a smart and important supplement. I have used this brand before and had no hesitation to try it. I believe the quality to be good and it smells fine to me as I didn;t know what to expect. I do find I need to take it WHILE I am eating. If I take it too early before a meal or wait too much afterwards I have horrible burps that just are not pleasant as you definitely know why and taste the oil. However, once I figured that out I have had no issues. I haven't really had any changes in my health and since I wasn't targeting anything in particular I can't comment as to its effectiveness. I am using it due to the information I researched and gathered and my confidence in this brand.
