Suits my needs for Teams perfectly
Works perfect even when the computer is locked. The worst thing is having a call come in and having to rush to unlock, wait, and then have everything slow to a crawl while you're trying to answer. This solves it completely. No software to install, literally just plug it in. My neighbor is going to buy one.

Don't Waste Your Money!
I ordered this, understanding that it was a no-frills desktop interface to Microsoft Teams on my laptop. Basically just an external microphone/speaker sitting on my desk. I didn't expect any functionality other than that. HOWEVER, for $100 I expect it to have dependable, crystal-clear audio! Instead, I had colleagues on several calls report a "strange echo" when I joined, and the audio kept dropping out every 5 seconds or so on my end. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING!

Clearer instructions for Basic Setting to get the bal rolling...
So I started using the “Yealink MP45 USB Phone Handset”, designed specifically for Microsoft Teams, and it's become an essential part of my home office setup as of recently. Certified for Microsoft Teams, this device strikes a perfect balance between functionality and simplicity, offering a more cost-effective solution compared to its counterpart, the Yealink MP50. Right out of the box, the MP45 impresses with its build quality… it feels substantial in hand, complete with anti-slip rubber feet, ensuring it stays put on my desk. Additionally, the option to connect a headset on top of the handset functionality enhances its versatility in my daily communication tasks. So setting up the MP45 was a breeze, truly embodying the plug-and-play ethos… There was no need to fumble around with drivers or installation software. I simply connected it to my PC using the provided USB A or USB C cable, and it was ready to go within moments. Microsoft Teams recognized the device instantly, even with the latest updates, which speaks volumes about its compatibility and ease of use. The inclusion of a dedicated Teams button to launch the app directly from the handset is a thoughtful touch that streamlines my workflow. The handset features a responsive, Android-based touch screen ( wish it was a Apple one that I could merge with the Apple eco system already setup in my household) that displays call information clearly. Navigating through the interface is snappy, allowing me to access and manage call functions effortlessly. Audio quality during calls is exceptionally clear and has superior sound. These features collectively enhance the overall user experience, making the MP45 a standout choice for anyone who relies on Microsoft Teams for communication. Side note though, the MP45 is not without its minor drawbacks… One notable omission is the automatic setting of the date and time. While it's possible to adjust these settings manually, the lack of an automatic option is a slight inconvenience that detracts from the otherwise seamless experience. Despite this, the MP45's strengths far outweigh this minor issue, making it a negligible concern in the grand scheme. Overall the Yealink MP45 USB Phone Handset is a fantastic addition to my desk. Its seamless integration with my Microsoft Teams, coupled with exceptional build quality and sound clarity, makes it an ideal choice for remote workers or anyone looking to enhance their communication setup. The simplicity of assembly, along with the convenience of both USB A and USB C connectivity, ensures that getting started is quick and hassle-free. While the manual setting of the date and time is a minor flaw, it doesn't diminish the overall value and performance of the device.

Cool handset.
This is a cool phone handset. I like the digital touch display screen. It is easy to operate and the calls are clear. I would recommend for any home, office, personal or professional use. This could also be a nice housewarming or gift idea.

Great Option for Computer Phone Calls & Speaker
I wanted a USB handset to use with Google Voice and decided to give this a try. It was very, very, very, extremely slow to get setup and on-line the first time. I think it was a full day plugged into my (older) Win10 computer and I had given up and thought I would have to box it up and send it back and then I noticed the display had finally changed and it was ready to use. I don't know if it was my computer taking that long to setup to use the new device, the phone updating, or some combination. But, after that first time and it getting setup and ready to use, it works normally now. You can use the phone - either handset or hands free speaker as a computer speaker, and like wise, the phone can be used as a microphone. It's not documented, but the phone will work just fine with Google Voice - the catch is, you operate Google Voice via your computer, after that, the 'phone' is just a speaker & microphone for Google Voice. You can do the same thing with (home/free version of Skype).

Not SIP capable. Truly stands out in its category.
This phone is NOT SIP capable, but it's a good option from the more affordable end of the spectrum for this kind of device. Its certification for Microsoft Teams ensures seamless integration and superior performance, making it a valuable tool for team collaboration. The fact that it is more cost-effective than the Yealink MP50 adds to its appeal, offering great value for money. It’s designed to work for PC and is conveniently powered via USB-A/C cable, making it easy to set up and use. While it does not support registration of SIP account to VoIP system, this does not detract from its overall functionality and efficiency. The sound quality is excellent, ensuring clear and effective communication. Overall, the Yealink MP45 USB Phone Handset earns a well-deserved 5-star rating for its outstanding features and performance.

A smart-ish phone for Teams that is easy to use!
This is a very nice quality phone that "just works" with Teams. The weight is good, has anti-slip rubber feet, and can even support a headset connection in addition to the handset. Plugging it in requires a minimal boot time and Teams (even the new version) picks it up instantly. There's even a little Teams button to launch the app. Pros: - Plug and play, no drivers, no nonsense - Nice little touch screen to display call information - Snappy interface, seems to be Android based - Very clear audio Cons: - No clear way to set the date and time automatically, it is possible to set manually Overall, this is a great unit to ship out to remote employees if your company uses Microsoft Teams. Assembly is simple and it comes with both USB A and USB C connectors.
