Bang for your buck
. it would be twice the bang for my buckIt also has the ability to hook up other devices to it so if I were to buy a second oneWorth it for the money, I researched and priced several portable speakers, this one comes with amenities that others neglect to provide. The sound quality is pretty awesome, I crank it to about 28 and piss my neighbors off. 😆 I can hear it perfectly clear from anywhere in my house if I leave my bedroom door open, and it is loud enough for me to sing at the top of my lungs in the shower and not have to hear my inability to carry a tune. The quality of bass is a 9 out of 10 in standard mode and 10 out of 10 with the bass boost option. It feels really well made and has a nice sturdy weight to it, it has the ability to be roughed up if you were to use it for outdoor venues, the wheels and retractable handle make it an absolute joy to take everywhere, I take it with me to work, anytime I leave the house I throw it in my truck. I have a pretty decent sound system in my truck and find myself using the block rocker more often because of its ease of use and connectivity to my phone. The microphone is an awesome option if you have Spotify premium you get the lyrics to all your favorite songs which pretty much turns this portable speaker into an improvised karaoke machine. It even has the ability to mirror link other devices, so I'm thinking about buying a second one so I have twice the bang for my buck.

Very good speaker!!
Wow, I am very impressed. This is an awesome speaker for its size!!! Use it on the sand at the beach when playing beach volleyball, in various inside and outside parts of my house, and in my car to replace a subpar stereo system lol. Couldn’t have picked a better product. Loud, great sound quality (bass and treble), portable, easy to carry, looks sleek (no bright colors, useless features or awkward designs), and most importantly battery lasts forever. There’s also a cool little covered storage area for your phone wallet and keys on the top it.

Powerful Bluetooth speaker
Bought this for travel baseball at bat/hype music. It is definitely loud and easily connects to Bluetooth on your phone. It holds a charge for a long time and comes with the charging cable. It also has a retractable handle and wheels, so it's easy to transport. Definitely a powerful speaker and worth the price!

More good than bad but you can probably do better by downsizing
Not bad. There are smaller units with better bass, the overall sound quality is okay but not great and the battery life is pretty short. But it accepts jump drives, charges easily, has a sturdy case and is of a convenient size. And you won't get blasted with unnecessary lights if you want to use this in a dark room. Given the sound quality it is unnecessarily large.

Definitely happy with it. Puts out good sound, quality decent, easy to use.
Has a long battery life. I had it on for 4+ hours yesterday while cleaning & it still had 3 of 4 bars (and that's after sitting for 6 weeks without being charged). Puts out good sound, pretty loud. Quality is decent for what it is, no complaints.

So far so Good 😎
The speaker reached way above my expectations. It is louder 🔊 than what I expected. When I put music 🎶 at my job, I can clearly hear the words. The Bluetooth distance is great 😃. Obviously if I go further away of the distance, it'll stop the music but not disconnect. The volume level is awesome. Love the design, especially because I like blue 💙. Not bad for the price. It functions perfectly when moving the speaker to different areas. Love the handle, great idea since I cannot carry heavy things. I love the speaker and I've had it for maybe 2-3 months. I think I would buy the same speaker again later in future, if still available of course.

They Managed To Go Backwards In Technology Instead of Forwards...
My title says it all! I have a Outback Explorer 2 which is 100 Watts PEAK and I just purchased this Block Rocker XL which states 220W (peak). Not only does the Outback Explorer 2 blow this thing out of the water in terms of sound quality and even loudness BUT it also only has (1) 8" Bass Speaker and (1) 3" Tweeter! I assumed since the Block Rocker was 220 Watts peak as well as 5 speakers instead of the Outback 2 speakers, it would blow the 5+ year old outback out of the water. It does not... The Block Rocker has bass that takes the show. It muddles every single song in deep notes that degrade the sound stage. The 220 Watt claim is bogus because the Outback Explorer 2 is 100 W and is louder I have both side by side. The Outback also has a nice even sound where as the Block Rocker XL is just obnoxiously loud bass and the tweeter and minds just get washed away. Not only does it not sound great/ even get to the loudness of the Outback, but it has less technology than the older Outback Explorer 2. The Outback Explorer 2 has a NFC pad so you car wireless charge your phone,The Block Rocker does not. The Outback has two cup holders, the Block Rocker does not. The outback has a built in storage bag for the microphone and charging cable, the Block Rocker has nothing so the microphone and cable go no where and get lost all the time. I'm not sure how Ion has managed to go backwards in time and technology and make a new speaker system with 5 speakers sound worse than a older system with two speakers and less power but they did. I have included a side by side of the specs for reference. I'm soo burnt out from returning "NEW" technology that I'm not even going to bother with this one. It's a 27LB paper weight. The apps horrible by the way. It operates NOTHING like they advertise in this listing. You cannot select outputs or even adjust the equalizer through the app. You also cannot adjust the RGB lights through the app or do really anything through the app. It's kind of embarrassing. I contacted ION about the app and they acted like it wasn't their problem and sent me off to another person and I just couldn't be bothered anymore. This Block Rocker XL even goes to a lower and higher frequency than the Outback Explorer 2 and it still manges to sound AWEFUL! Get this speaker if you like obnoxiously loud and overpowering bass and don't care about hearing what you are listening to is basically what I'm trying to say. Look elsewhere if you want a speaker that sounds decent or even OK. This is not that speaker.
