Fantastic small reading/media tablet
I've had a tab s6lite for a few years now but it's always been too big for reading manga. It was too heavy to comfortably use it and not so travel friendly for my needs. I've been wanting a good small tablet for a while now, so I finally caved and picked up the a9 and I'm so glad I did. It feels a bit slow when when swiping around, and there's no way to change any display settings on it, but I'm used to the Galaxy S25U so I'll probably never get that fast refresh rate I'm used to. The size is great! It's just small enough to enjoy reading, and big enough to keep me off my phone. It's not heavy at all and is a joy to hold in one hand. It's also bright enough to read outside, although I haven't tested in sunny weather. I've been wanting a android tablet that's the same aspect ratio as a book but also ran android, but those are either too pricy or non existent. The tab a9 is a fantastic price. It looks and feels great. Even though it's a pretty device, I'll sadly still keep it in a case. I've had the tablet for maybe 5 days and ive only had to charge it twice (both times it was at half) and it's only been used for both YouTube and reading, so your mileage may vary. If you use Galaxy earbuds and other Samsung devices, it automatically pairs with any of them as long as you're signed into you're samsung account. All I had to do was open YouTube and play a video and it immediately connected to my earbuds without any hassle. Video playback was fine, I didn't see any issues in quality or visual lag. The case that I'm using was a cheap folio cover case on Amazon, I don't recommend this one specifically. It's very tight and presses on the corners of the screen. If the screen is on and is showing any dark/low light content, you can see a visible brightness if you look closely. It's as if you were to press with some force on the screen and see the lights change. I'm unsure how to describe it well. Just be careful of what cases you buy. To round this long rant off, I'll just say that for my specific needs, this device is a fantastic option for media consumption. And if your looking for a cheap android Ereader, this is probably the best you're gonna get.

great for my mother and me
My mom loves this tablet. She was so excited to use it, and now she uses it for phone calls and video chats with family overseas. It’s easy to set up and works perfectly with her Samsung phone. The sound quality is great, the brightness is simple to adjust, and the memory is impressive—it just works really well.

Decent, fast and reliable for the price!
Can't go wrong for the price. Yes the countries listed on mine were South American even though I purchased it in North America. Yes Samsung did all for a phone number. Neither were show stopers for me. As others have mentioned in their reviews, all I had to do was change the location on the weather app and change the units to Fahrenheit. For a little over $100 this tablet is far superior than any other tablet within the same price point. A year ago I regrettably bought a no brand made in China tablet for each of my kids. The specs looked great however after I charged both of them and turn them on they were slower than a turtle trying to cross the road. They were well below the price of this tablet and my wife and I ended up using them allowing our kids to watch their favorite videos in the car on long trips but they were terribly slow to boot up and to perform basic functions. This tablet in contrast is God send! Compared to that tablet this one is a hundred times faster hands down. It really feels like a large Samsung smartphone it's fast easy switch between apps and I love the fact that it is Android-based and as a result all the apps that my kids use to watch their favorite shows are easy to download from Play store. If my wife and I didn't have our surface tablets we would definitely be using the same one that we bought for our kids here. Overall if you're looking for something that won't break the bank and is small enough to hold and watch at a decent resolution your favorite shows or even do lite browsing I totally recommend this tablet.

Good cheap tablet
Description said "Wall charger combo" but no 15W wall charger was included. I didn't need, it, but inaccurate description guys. International version is fine, just select any country and when you log into your google account it all works as normal. Good tablet, not the fastest, but good enough for daily tasks.

Very good
Got it as a Christmas gift for one of my nephews who’s been begging for a little iPad, he’s around 7 years old and didn’t need something expensive because he’s a kid. So far what I’ve heard from him and his mom is that it’s very long lasting battery, color was exactly as shown and the quality is just great. The graphics on this thing are amazing and super lightweight especially since he’s 7.

Stopped charging after a few months
The tablet itself is perfect for what I needed - a small "throw away" tablet to remote control audio mixing hardware, and something that was cheap enough that I wouldn't care about if it got damaged at a gig. During setup, the tablet only let me choose a country that was in a list of middle eastern countries. Which is weird, but to be fair, it is listed as the "International Version". And for what I'm using it for, I didn't really care. Text was in English, and I can set my timezone to something in the US, so whatever. But the HUGE disappointment is that it stopped charging after just a few months. I did let the battery get fully discharged, but I've never heard of a tablet/phone fully dying after discharging (and I've had plenty of phones/tablets in my life that I've let discharge). I spent several days trying different chargers, even the included one, and following online advice on how to reset it using volume/power keys, but the tablet remains dead. I didn't realize this until a few days before a gig, and didn't have time to research a better replacement, so I ended buying this tablet a second time. I'll be sure to not let it get fully discharged, and hopefully it will be fine. But I'm really disappointed in this basic kind of a failure, especially from a company like Samsung.

Solid quality, no complaints
I bought the Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 SM-X110 bundled with a power adapter. It's hard to find a reputable manufacturer who offers a mini-sized Android tablet. I rate Samsung at less than a perfect 5 stars because they didn't release this model in the U.S., but released the too-large Galaxy Tab A9+ instead. I rate the A9 tablet itself at 5 stars. Size is just right. Storage capacity and processor speed are good enough. Display is sharp with good color and contrast. I didn't want LTE, and this (specifically X110) tablet doesn't have it - that probably saves on battery life. Despite what other reviewers complain about setting up the tablet to work in the U.S., I had no problems. I chose American English as the language and Santiago Chile as my location since it's in my time zone. I changed the location for weather forecasts to my city, changed temperature units to Fahrenheit, and everything works fine. It came with Android 14 out of the box. I'm annoyed that there's no U.S. warranty coverage but I can live with that for a tablet that offers what I need at a reasonable price. Note that I'm not a connoisseur. My old LG tablet runs Android 7, has half the storage of my new one, and has been getting frustratingly less responsive. So the new one is amazing by comparison. My only regret is that Android 14 won't run the Swype and Dragon keyboard app - the one and only hardly-irritating-at-all tablet keyboard I've found so far. (App developers please take note, and please come out with a not-irritating keyboard option for all of us Swypers.)
