bought this flashlight because I just joined a neighborhood watch recently and I found that a good flashlight is very handy to have and I love this flashlight it's a substantial flashlight it's heavy but not too heavy it has the zoom capabilities it has the flood light capabilities it has five settings and the one thing that I found out was to hold the power button down and it will turn the light off in any light mode it's in, so you don't have to go through all the five settings to get to the off setting. All the modes are controlled by a single button .I had to test out the waterproof theory on it so I actually put the thing underwater and turn the light on and it worked and it still working and this is a couple of days ago. It has the rechargeable battery and it has new technology, there's a chip on the inside that allows for fast charging and if you leave it on a low setting it'll stay on for at least 8 hours. It also comes with the USB charger cable. To get the zoom feature all that has to be done is to push the head of the flash light up is down. It's super bright and when in zoom mode you can see things really far pretty clearly. There's a light on the side of the neck that has a red flashing light function. That would be perfect for signaling to others that help us needed. There's the white light option as well. For a bright light for working on something up close but not as bright as it is on the head. It's all led bulbs so it will not break as other bulbs might. I'm going to buy another to keep in the car. The battery last for a long time when it's fully charged. But the best thing is when it's on the flood mode you can see a huge area as it lights up from the beam that it puts out and the zoom is also great if you want to see something that far away and you want to be able to see it clearly. Not just for camping or power outages.

good bright light

I bought this light in June of 2025, charged it up, flicked it on..it shined pretty bright..so I turned it off and placed it away safe for future use. Took it out on September 26, 2025-put it on charge (two blue lights-so I wanted to fully charge it) to look down a dark spot under my car hood and it was dead. Went back inside and charged it again, and it wouldn't work. While charging, it ramped from one to 4 blue lights, indicating a full charge had been reached. when disconnected to use, nothing-no lights...I checked the battery and positioning, tightening, damage, but everything is still brand new!...but guess what? there is no return or exchange on this item...I'm stuck with a metal billy club....$40 down. The replacement battery is not a normal type...

Never use batteries again. A good solid light that could also be used as a weapon. It’d be nice if the battery lasted longer before needing to recharge.
