Used these to tension a 3/16 wire under my chain link fence to keep the dog from pushing underneath. Used one at each end and used these to tension the wire. Worked great, able to get quite a bit of tension without any problems with the hooks. Smaller than I was thinking they would be, but had plenty of room to tension the wire along my longest span (approximately 90 feet). Holding up well without any issues. Did take approximately two weeks to arrive since shipping from China, but was aware of that from other reviews. Much better value than buying from the big box store and definitely worth the wait.

I liked the quality of this item. With the aid of a short length of wire attached to the end loop on this unit ... and the other end attached to a tension pulley on my riding lawnmower ... I was able to turn (tighten) the turnbuckle on the unit which pulled the pulley ... tightening the belt to a position where I could tighten the adjustment bolt to keep the belt tight!

Ships from China. Took 17 days to arrive. They are a bit small (as described though), will upload a picture. I don't know if they are true stainless, will see when the rain hits them. The metal is better quality than what you might find in a tractor supply store (which are from china also). I think the ones in tractor supply are aluminum. I wonder if they sell bigger ones and are better quality as well. If the product is Chinese anyway, I don't see any harm in buying from the source except for slow shipping. That said I like to buy American whenever the CEOs bless us with American made products.

You always wonder when purchasing a product that you can’t touch and feel: is it really going to be what I had hoped for?! These tension hooks are perfect and much less expensive than what I was finding in my local hardware store. I highly recommend this product. I have several of them in use outside in my garden, and I couldn’t be happier!

Bought these for the sole purpose of attaching 1/8" stainless steel cable to cedar posts on a multilevel deck railing project. They are just right for this job. Small, well polished, and will have enough travel to ensure the cables stay tight. Not sure of there holding capacity but I will not have much tension on them. Work perfectly for a clothesline. You have to pull the line up fairly tight before attaching these to the end, as the line will stretch a bit, and after they've been up for awhile, it stretches again, but it is a simple matter to untie and re-tie. They work perfectly and are not too big for this purpose. I am using paracord for the clothesline. Perhaps a vinyl coated wire would be better, as it doesn't stretch, but also it would be more difficult to pull tight initially, or to re-tie.

We have never used these but they seemed like they would make installation easier. We unwound clothesline and stretched it out prior to installing. We then cut to length and installed and it definitely made getting lines tight easier but in the wind two of them keep unscrewing and we find the line down once with clothes on and once later in the evening. We have never had this issue so prob just a fluke. 3 stars for idea and ease of install but -2 stars for cost paid given issue we are having We are not hassling with returning because of drive time to do so but u might want to install before return window closes just incase you have this issue.
