Takes 2 x AA batteries which are not supplied. Made of hard plastic and the lights offer more of a background lighting effect than a primary source. Purchased for my daughter to make a birthday display with and it looks perfect in place with cards around it. Would have been nice if it had come with batteries and maybe the plastic was a bit softer. Decent and pretty much as expected.

I bought this for a 10 year old's birthday candy table. I should have looked at the measurements but I put it on top of a black box to give it some more height. Lit up, it really made the table something special.

I was so skeptical on purchasing letters on Amazon just because of mixed reviews. I went with my gut feeling on these & didn’t disappoint. I love them! I attached a picture of one with the lights and off so you can see what they look like! Such a good size!!
