Natures Market 1 x BF019 Large Deluxe Hanging Steel Nut Peanut Bird Feeder

I think this is a great deal for a high capacity nut feeder the birds instantly took to using it - what's not to love? Fair enough, it isn't squirrel proof but that is the only negative point - the birds all use it and this one coupled with other nut feeders and a large seed feeder keep the nation of birds in my garden and woodland area more than happy. Construction quality is very good - way better than I expected for the price as I've had more expensive feeders which were nowhere near as well made. Unless a squirrel decides to spend a long time tearing at this with it's teeth I've no doubts it will last me a few years. I'd definitely recommend it.

Great for the price and more nuts for the tits!

A good price but flimsy and not very robust. It arrived in a plastic bag with no padding, not in a box and was squashed and the mesh was pulled out of the lid. I managed to squeeze it back into shape and put the mesh back into place. The bigger birds here normally throw these feeders off the hooks and onto the ground so only a matter of time before it would be damaged anyhow.

Wonderful size and enjoyed by my herd of birds from tiny blue tits, wood peckers, starlings to magpies. Also get the local parakeets and they have not destroyed them, respect. It's strong, easy clean and a good size for large bag of peanuts.

Best nut feeder I've had, it's been in the garden now for almost 2 years and it has withstood rain, snow, hail, wind etc along with loads of washes, it went a little rusty on the top but that came off when I washed it. It's very large so a lot of birds can get on it at once, every bird that visits my garden has just about been on it. With the smaller nut feeders I used to have to go out and fill it up every night, now the birds can enjoy their nuts for about three days before it needs refilled (I get a lot of birds in the garden!) It's easy to fill and the lid slots back down snug.

Decent size allowing for less regular refills, arrived on time, well wrapped. The birds took to it straight away. I do agree about the thinness of the wires mentioned in previous reviews, looks like a squirrel will get through it.

Purchased as fed up not being able to clean the base, this is easy, woodpeckers love it as long and sturdy for them to feed.

A good product altogether, full metal and easy to fill. I use it to feed tits, sparrows and the occasional woodpecker.
