A loveable read where you feel like you've got a friend talking to you.
Things No One Told Us About love has been a captivating read about love, expectations, and even experiences with relationships whether it be with a partner, friend, family member and yourself too. I have highlighted parts so I can go back and refer to it. It's a wonderful reminder of how to be authentic and to love unconditionally and cultivate it without attachment, ego or expectation. It also reminds you to love yourself and do everything from a place of love and then that will mirror back to. I love how Vex King writes from a pure place of love. I really love some points summarised or advice given in bullet points. This is a book I've enjoyed reading and I know I will go back to it just like Good Vibes, Good Life. This book will leave you wanting to do everything with love from a pure place with no expectation but gratitude. I would definitely recommend this and I think Vex King just writes from a good place, a pute place, an honest place, a place from good intentions and a place from love. I will definitely be going back to this again. Definitely recommend it!

Loved It — So Simple and Insightful
I really loved this book. It’s written in such a simple, gentle way that makes every chapter easy to understand and relatable. The author shares clear, practical advice about love, boundaries, and self-worth without ever feeling preachy. It made me reflect on my own relationships and gave me a better understanding of myself too. A comforting, thoughtful read I’m really glad I picked up.

This book is hard failed and honest, and it speaks directly to the quiet moments that we usually keep to ourselves. The writing is simple, and yet it captures the messy, beautiful, confusing aspect of love and heartbreak that we need to address each piece of this like a conversation and intimate sincere and deeply human, but my favourite thing about this is how Viking didn’t try to glamorise, love or heartbreak instead of lies in towards the quiet mornings and the late night when your heart feels a little full to the need for growth and self discovery and resilience into your relationships. I little bit felt like after a while, it got a little repetitive, but overall this book is really really worth reading at least once in your life and I will definitely return to this book. Whenever I need a reminder that while imperfect is always worth exploring.
