I love this dash cam! I bought one in 2024 and gave it to my mom when we both got new cars. I tried others dash cams and all were returned for various reasons and finally I said “what was I thinking?? This one was great!” (Doesn’t have touchscreen or voice control but honestly not really missing much with those) Installation: very easy to install by yourself. You do not need to go to a shop or have a lot of car knowledge or experience. If you have a friend to help, all the better so you can have them hold the front camera as you place the rear 😊. Super fast to install. Now, a few things that make the difference between this dash cam and others: *3 channels with loop recoding donations up to 5 minutes. All cameras record simultaneously (unless you turn the inside off then only back and front) and can do single view or split screen. If you don’t want the inside camera on you can go into the settings and turn it off. Love the inside camera when I have my friends kids in the car or my nephews so I can watch them and also a deterrent to them acting up knowing they are on camera *all 3 cameras are super clear!! Even if you are driving into the rising or setting Sun, it won’t mess up the recording. Back cam is great for additional backup camera as well as seeing who is riding your bumper. Inside is great if you have kids or want to record a fun trip with friends or an important conversation (those who know know what I mean) *Records speed as well as date and time stamp: great if you need that to help you out of a ticket. Also has built-in GPS. All this records without it blocking the screen with numbers and symbols (wifi symbol, mic, memory card, speed, time…) unless you watch the recording and it is a small text on the bottom. I have tried others where it doesn’t go away, numbers and symbols an over the screen and you can’t see squat. *Screensaver: this just turns the screen off after the set amount of time. You can’t change it in the settings or if you don’t want the screen turning off during the day but do at night you can just touch the power button on the side (don’t hold it) and the screen turns off but cameras stay on. I don’t drive too much at night but when I do it is a great feature so you don’t have additional light interference while driving. Others I have tried did not have that feature. Had to go into settings each time to change it. *G-Sensor: not too sensitive like a lot of others (hit a pebble and it locks the even like an accident). The sensitivity can be adjusted in the settings, I keep mine on low so it doesn’t go off when I go over bumps. Most of us don’t live on pristine roads and having a sensor that goes off from railroad tracks to manhole covers to a dip in the road…turning it off is pointless, you want this feature if you get into an accident so it won’t be recorded over if the memory card runs out of space. *IR and nighttime: this isn’t the worlds best BUT unless you want to spend $300-$500 it won’t be. It is really good! At night I can get a great view of what is behind me, not a lot of glare, also great for an additional backup camera at night and in bad weather. Inside camera at night works really well. I originally had it in a 3 row Pilot and could see into the 3rd row without an issue at all. * Parking safety: starts recording if someone leans on your car, taps it or breaks in (don’t use that bc you need another part to have that work but great to have the option of you are worried about where you are leaving your car) *Volume: can turn the mic off so you aren’t recording all conversations (or your VERY off key singing haha) The App: I don’t really use it bc my phone connects to my car via Bluetooth and having to switch back and forth and then I don’t have my hands free capabilities. It does help when installing the cameras to make sure the positions are exactly where you want them before sticking them on the glass. It is also nice to have so you can download videos from the camera right to the app so they don’t get recorded over and you don’t have to take the card out. And you have them stored if you ever need them for other reasons say court for tickets or accident reports. Seriously, I have recommended this camera to a lot of friends and other family members. I would not have put one in my mother’s car if I didn’t trust this camera!!!

I’m very happy with the REDTIGER F17. The 4K front recording is clear and captures details I didn’t expect, setup was quick, and the app is easy to use. Parking/loop recording has worked well for me so far. Great value for the price would definitely buy again

This camera is very easy to install and use. The video quality is excellent. I added the hardwire harness, which is a separate purchase, to be able to use the parking security mode. This is a great feature that activates if your car is hit or broken into. I give it 4 stars because the camera stopped working after I tried to replace the supplied 64gb card with a 256gb. The camera would turn on, and all the menu buttons functioned, but when formatting the SD card, it kept saying the card could not be formatted. Without formatting or recognizing the card the camera while not record. I contacted customer support, and they sent me a Redtiger 256GB card to replace the 64gb. That did not work. I contacted them and they shipped me an entire new system. I received it today, and the replacement camera now recognizes the 256gb card, and is working fine. I only needed the main camera, because the original wiring is already installed through my cars body trim, with the rear camera mounted. They advised just to put the bad camera in the new box with all the new wiring and send it back that way; no need to return original wiring. Overall, I am very satisfied with the quality and ease of function of the R17. (It's rare to have problems with electronics, but it does happen. I just drew a bad one this time.) As far as support, it was excellent. Each step, the SD card replacement, and then the camera replacement, were very quick. Two-day shipping for each event. This camera is one of the top rated for its price and I highly recommend this system for those who want the security of a 360° video eyewitness. When it comes down to, he said she said, the camera never lies.

Never considered getting a dash cam until I saw this camera show up on my feed. The quality is good and you dont even have to be connected to it as it just records all the time. Suggestion for you all is to buy a USB adapter to cigarette lighter port. That way you can keep it plugged in all the time and depending on what car you have it will keep recording for like another hour while your car is parked and will still turn off and not drain your car battery. It was actually pretty easy to set up too. The app is pretty basic but easy to download your stuff when needed.

Red tiger products are great quality, made well, easy to install. Dash cams are a necessity if you’re a daily driver. I purchased this for comparison but returned it as I kept the other Red Tiger with a few more features. This is a great value without spending a lot of money. I highly recommend it if you’re comparison shopping.

Had the dash cam for about a month. For how cheap it is, definitely gets the job done. Very clean recording, easy to install, night vision is really good, and is very accurate. Highly recommended

Great. Easy to install. I did the hard wire. So I have to running 24/7 . Front and interior camera are great. I had issues with thr back camera where it's too dark. And if I angle it lower the brightness Is fixed but can't see anything because of my car back glass angle. Also back cars number plates are not visible at all. Too blurred. Update: I tried adjusting the back camera to a different place lower on the back glass and the electro static tape ended up ripping 3 of 4 of my rear glass defroster lines. That was never mentioned as being an issue it's a major issue. I live in a cold region and being able to see while driving depends on that. So now I have to pay to get that fixed. Before winter. And the worst part it the new place I fixed the back cam wasn't any better so I ruined my defroster for no reason. So now I moved it back to where there was some visibility . Update: I reached out to their Support and they responded immediately and were more than helpful the even sent over a different rear WDR camera (Wide Dynamic Range) over no expense to me. This rear camera is so much better and has more natural colors and is also a lot clearer than the previous one. This WDR Camera make darker areas appear more natural and the skies more blue. This is especially helpful because now u can see number plates of cars behind even in sunny or cloudy weather. I really wish the WDR Camera rear came shipped standard so I hadn't ruined by top 3 lines of the rear glass defogger. But still grateful that they were nice enough to send a replacement so quick.
