Works good but open and close are reversed.

I have quite a bit of water pressure and this nozzle really takes advantage of it. It delivers about 3x the amount of water relative to a standard high-end spray attachment, so it makes watering a newly seeded lawn much faster. A big range of spray options - narrow and far (in my case about 80 feet) or wide and dispersed. Very happy with it.

Best nozzle ever! Like others have said, you might think that "off" would be in the forward position, but that being said, I am very pleased with this nozzle. I like volume. I fill 30 to 100 gallon tanks every day or two and this nozzle seems to be as fast as no nozzle at all and it allows me to control the flow at the point of filling and not back at the shutoff valve. It's worth twice the $.

Imagine that you’ve just finished washing and drying your car Saturday morning and you’re putting everything away and you are now coiling the hose up neatly and the nozzle’s lever handle turns the water on when pulled backwards on the ground and your car get soaked with water because the nozzle lever handle is backwards as demonstrated in the video. The Chapin 4697 Fireman’s Garden Hose Nozzle functions just fine but the on/off lever handle is backwards compared to other fireman style nozzles. The problem is when the nozzle is laid down on the ground to coil up the hose up or pull the hose on the ground, the on/off lever turns the water on when dragging the hose backwards on the ground to coil up the hose. The solution is to turn the water off and drain the hose of water before coiling the hose up or live with the water turning on and chasing the hose down to turn the water off.

Well pleased with this nozzle. It seams to be sturdy, well built and able to last a long time.

About time someone gets it right Worth it if you have the psi for it. Waters a third acre in record time.

Not close to expected. I replaced a $6.00 nozzle with this, I'm back to the cheaper nozzle, flow is much faster than this product. This "fireman's" nozzle has a very weak spray. It is so weak that I thought that I wasn't adjusting the flow carefully enough. The "jet" stream is very weak.

Rarely I get excited to write a review. If you have the volume to properly use this beast. Look out!!! I can water my neighbors lawn with this. Heavy construction. Built well!! I’m fighting fires with it. Awesome buy.

Works great well made Lotsa volume and good control but being a first time user of a firehose type handle...if ya drop em they spray everyone ...and can be kinda funny first use.
