My dog is afraid of the dark, I needed a bright flashlight to light her way on walks, this flashlight is perfect, it has a very bright beam that reaches a good distance, variable illumination, small, easy to carry, well made, rechargeable, I unknowingly dropped it in the grass, my neighbor found it the following morning and returned it to me, it survived the sprinklers! I would recommend it to anyone needing a bright, reliable flashlight.

Do not let the budget price of this light fool you. It's build quality is excellent and it has great design. Perfect for EDC carry. The beam is nice and wide with a nice hot spot and spill and bright! Great for most tasks. I would highly recommend this to carry in your pocket or keep in your nightstand next to you in case of emergency at night.

It's not cheap made. Mostly metal. I believe all flashlights from this brand are solid. I had the N7 before this one. The button was mapped funky. This one is mapped better, the way it functions makes more sense than N7. N7 had a strong magnet for attaching. This one doesn't. This one is much much brighter than N7. N8 has built in battery and built in charger, N7 did not, had to buy them separately. They are both amazing flashlights, very bright. This one is quite a bit brighter though, and will help when I'm camping. Great purchase

I bought this because 18650 batteries are the best for flashlights, and no other battery is even close. I like: The batteryThe sizeThe white light, around 5000KThe light brightness on full wide, lights up a large area brightly.A standard 18650 can be used by placing a round flat magnet on the end of the battery to lengthen it.Strong, heavy construction with no plastic or rubber.I do not like (but not deal breakers):The light pattern is squarishThe 18650 cell is rechargeable (I rather swap cheap standard 18650 batteries)Multi-mode is useless. I will not be sending SOS down the hall to my kitchen.Tail switches are not ergonomic (but people like them for some reason)No anti-roll feature, will roll off a slanted surface.Tail is not wide enough for the light to stand up firmly.It's a good light mainly because it takes 18650 batteries. I recommend it if you are OK with my nit-picks. 3 stars,

This Flashlight Is great. I'm very happy with my purchase. It's a good size very bright and it has so many different mode and the light beam can be focus, not as much as I would like. The only reason why I didn't give it all of the stars it's because I would want to be able to charge the battery without having to remove it. I work on the ramp of an airport at night and it meets my needs.

Must buy! This flashlight is worth it's weight in gold. It's completely user friendly and doesn't skip over it's functions. Strobing is easily started and SOS easier after. The light diffuser is great. It slips on easily and holds tightly. You get an extra O-ring and the wrist lanyard is the perfect size. I'm just sorry I bought this later then I did.

It doesn't last more that 3 months. A really low quality product. Don't waste you money. The led welding broke up.
