Very convenient
I use my Aeropress a lot. It is part of a coffee kit that I keep inside a large metal lunchbox. The quality is holding up very well as I would expect with Aeropress. I was previously using the inverted method of brewing but this has made that obsolete. The performance and fit is great with zero leaks. It makes a good strong flavored coffee, just the way I like it. For versatility my wife adds water to make an Americano style coffee. My kit goes with me camping and road trips. This makes for easy cleanup with just a rinse. You can just compost the grounds and there is no trash with the metal filter. I highly recommend this as part of your Aeropress accessories.

These are a necessity.
Tried the normal cap that comes with the go, hated it. The no-leak cap changed the whole game, perfect addition that works very very well. Negligible difference between paper and metal filter, snobs will say otherwise and I’m no novice myself, the taste and functionality is the same bar some microscopic grounds getting through.

Easy to use
Much better than the original part. This ine doesn't leak until i begin to press down. Easy to clean filter. Not sure why items were shipped separately and arrived on different days, i thought it would arrive packaged together.

No more drips
Great addition to my AeroPress to stop the premature drips. Does add more resistance to the plunge so you'll have to go slower. I did ding 1 star because this honestly should just come with the product by default. Feels like a pay to win DLC in the game called life XD.

This pair have brought me BACK to Aeropress!!
I’d gotten away from my Aeropress…in fact, I’d gotten away from coffee entirely, despite having top quality coffee beans, mid-top coffee implements (makers, burr grinder, and such). When I came back around to wanting coffee again, migrated naturally to the Aeropress - it makes DELICIOUS coffee!! I finally decided it was time to STOP the inverter method and to do this the “right” way…WHAT a difference! Just wish they’d include it with the kits as a “normal” component, but that’s a different story. If you have an Aeropress and don’t subscribe to the inverter way of doing things, you will LOVE this. Metal vs paper (or both) filter is a personal choice. TRY IT! :o)

Allows me to safely brew coffee over my cup (as designed to do)
Okay... I admit it. I'm a coffee snob. I also travel extensively as part of my job. And I don't need to tell you the quality of morning coffee you get out of a lobby urn sitting on a breakfast nook table isn't the best. My solution is to pack along my Aeropress with a pouch of coffee grounds. The morning pleasure of a solid cuppa coffee outweighs any inconvenience of slight loss of luggage space equal to a pair of shoes. In my experience, the minor design flaw with the Aeropress is the dripping thru the paper filter as the press sits over my coffee cup. Even a subtle pull upward to create vacuum didn't fully cure the problem. So.... the well-known answer is to brew upside down on the table, insert the plunger at the last moment, invert over your cup and press out the magical elixir that gives you the will to face the day. The danger, of course, is having an open tube of hot, hot water waiting to get knocked over. This redesigned filter cap with its one-way valve (by the original creator - Aeropress) eliminates the worry of a spill accident making the Areopress truly the perfect hotel morning coffeemaker for travelers. I've had mine for over six months. As long as you don't forcefully press down - it should last forever.

Even easier to use the Aeropresse now!
I bought this along with the stainless filter and it’s made it so much easier to push the water through the grounds. Very happy with it!
