Straight Cuts vertical are done with precision; however, it cannot do horizontal - half cuts across (long way).

Well I got this to lay down flooring to cut it with out a saw and it works perfectly for me. I am no carpenter so I am happy for what it does.

If you are planning on installing LVP flooring on your own then this is the tool to buy! I previously installed flooring in my basement without a proper cutting tool like this and it SUCKED!
