It has held up extremely well and cuts just about most kind of rock, from the very soft petoskey stone fossils to hard jasper, petrified wood, geodes
We don't recommend using this blade to cut too hard materials, such as: agate with a Morse hardness of 6-7. Because it is difficult to cut or the blade will be damaged quickly
A high concentration diamonds are crimped into the blade rim
More diamonds in the notched rim and a stiffer core make this blade cut faster and provide a long use-life
These gem saw blades work well with most lapidary materials and are a very affordable alternative to name brand blades
