You can’t put a price on precious earrings. Having lost a wedding day gift diamond stud years ago as I removed a scarf, I discovered this secure backing alternative and have been recommending it to people ever since. This option is 24 carat gold plated so no allergy issues either. Third one I have bought in 4 years as I keep giving them as gifts. Mine are still going strong, though do benefit from an occasional deep clean!

Very disappointed as they arrived without the large plastic backs to hold bigger earrings in place, which was the type I had ordered. Now I have had to buy a set of six discs for £13 for Chrysmela in the USA - and pay £31 postage. Unbelievable. I cannot return the set as I am disabled and cannot get to the door to give them to the post man. So disappointed, as the ones I wanted are perfect and work really well. So I have will have spent over £100 but at least I will have spare discs in the future for when they fail.
