This serum is very gentle on my combination skin. I noticed a difference in the texture and fine lines. It’s moisturizing under my night cream and it’s light without any noticeable smell. The serum has retinal and night blooming flowers that makes it feel luxurious in quality and value. Highly recommend.

MY ⭐️RATINGS: 4⭐️- I would recommend it as the one to get. FIRSTLY, if you are not already using retinol, this isn't for you. RENTIAL is the next step after retinol because if your skin can handle the latter, the risk of your skin having sensitivity issues is very minimal. Rentinal is much more potent than retinol and can cause you skin issues if you’re not careful. This has given me results quickly, but again because I have been using retinol for a while and my skin was prepped. My skin is glowing and even-toned, and sebum is balanced. Fine lines & wrinkles are diminished. I find if I want results, I must be consistent and patient. Missing applications slow the benefits of the product on my skin. HOW I USE: EVERY OTHER NIGHT🌙 1 - Cleanse my face, 2 - I apply 2 pumps of this serum on my face. I always dry my face & hands thoroughly before applying any serums. Then, I ensure the serum absorbs into my skin before applying moisturizer. If I don’t, I get a sticky, icky feel. 3 - LAST, I finish with my usual moisturizer. Ursa Major Lunar Bloom Retinal Serum works well with the other skincare products that are part of my facial regimen. EXPIRATION DATE: UPON OPENING! I always check for an expiration date before using, ESPECIALLY with health & beauty products. This product does not have one, which means the expiration is between 12-18 months UPON OPENING. This serum is exactly as advertised, and works well. It is a bit pricey, which is a huge factor when I choose products, but for a professional brand product that gives results, I realize I will have to pay a higher price.

Ursa Major Lunar Bloom Retinal Serum 4 ½ stars rounded up to 5. I really liked this brand’s mineral SPF, so I had high hopes for this serum, and it met them. This is my first retinal (just one conversion step away from retinoic acid/tretinoin) after years of using retinols (two conversion steps). The serum arrived in a branded box that wasn’t taped shut. Ingredients are listed. The white (protective) glass bottle has a clear lid but no other safety seals. The pump doesn’t lock but it works well. The ingredients are fantastic; there aren’t any “icky” ones. I was a little apprehensive when I saw a few oils were listed (I have acne-prone, combination skin that doesn’t do well with a lot of oil), but I’ve been using this unscented serum every night for a month and haven’t experienced any issues. This is a lightweight serum that easily glides across my skin; it’s a pleasure to apply and is absorbed quickly without any tackiness. I liked this serum right away, and my appreciation grew as I noticed improvement in my neck (don’t neglect it like I did). I haven’t noticed as much improvement in the fine lines around my eyes, but I’ve been using stronger retinols there for years. One pump covers my neck and eye areas. Two will cover my entire face and neck. Most days I’ve used one, because I’ve been using my old retinol serum on the other areas (and since it’s winter I’m also using my mid-weight moisturizer that contains bakuchiol). I also want to use this ounce of retinal serum mainly on my neck because I’ve been so pleased with the results there, but about twice a week I cover everything. I didn’t have any issues immediately using this serum every night. I experienced the “retinol uglies” on my neck within the past six months or so (once I started to use stronger retinols on it), so my face and neck were acclimated. Highly recommended. Vegan. Cruelty free. All the good things. An icon states this serum should last at least 6 months once opened. Made in Vermont (USA).
