Nice bit of kit, and much faster boiling time than some others reported here, I'm using UK 240v where I assume they are using 110v like in the US. Using a normal size mug for Tea or Coffee (Not a small tea cup) of 360ml of cool tap water at 10c, it took just 6 minutes 16 seconds to boil, and to bring 500ml (0.5 litres) of cool tap water to the boil it took 9 minutes. At 240v from UK mains or from my inverter, it was pulling 352 watts of power, tested with both my Fluke multimeter and a Victron SmartShunt. (Solar battery system) After closing the steam vent it became totally water tight, so I'm happy to carry it in my backpack full of hot water, this unit didn't have any defects that I could find, as the boiling auto switch-off worked like it should, and if you are careful, you can boil 2 mugs of water by keeping the lid off. One more thing, this kettle flask is very quiet to use, I would think around 1/10th as loud as a normal kettle, so if you are hard of hearing you need to remember that. I will do an update after some hard use. Indeed, but Amazon was good enough to sell me a Jackery Portable Power Station: it won’t run my 3.5kW high-speed kettle – but it will run the lower-power Emooncn 600ML Portable Travel Kettle It will hold exactly two mugs of tea, and it will take 8mins 16.5 seconds to boil. On my power station it reduced its capacity from to 85% to 80%. I mostly love this. The biggest bugbear for me is it drips. It drips when you remove the lid if you're not careful. I've got that figured out now, so I can keep that contained. More frustrating is it drips when pouring out the water. I try to remember to pour it out over a cloth or tissue to soak up the drips. It's not a massive drip, but it's a hassle to wipe everything down afterwards. I've yet to work out any kind of cheat for that particular problem. 🤔 The overall footprint of this for my little kitchenette area is ideal, especially for a single person. I wouldn't call it a proper travel water heater, because most people would expect it to be powered with a 12v system to qualify for that status, but it can be easily transported. It is powered with a lead with a UK three-pin plug. I feel it could do with a slightly longer lead, if you don't have a plug that's easy to reach, it would be a hassle. It's also quite heavy for the size, but for me that's not a problem because like I said, I didn't buy it as a travel item. The water boils quickly, and the build quality seems good. I find it automatically turns on when the plug is first plugged in or turned on. I think that's only an issue when it's first plugged in, because it also switches off when it hits the boiling point. To be sure, I just remember to turn it off at the plug for safety reasons. I haven't had any problems with varied temperature, and it has boiled consistently. There has also been no problem with any smell or taste to taint the water. My favourite part is how little energy it uses. In the event of a power outage, I could use this with my small solar generator to easily keep our household in hot water for drinks or things like instant soup. I find it does one large mug, or two smaller mugs when fully filled. If you want something small for a permanent setting, this is proably the heater for you. If you want a travel heater, you might need to consider the weight and carting around the lead. Although, if you have a suitable inverter installed in a vehicle, then you're good to go.

Like everyone else says, this is a Great little kettle. After hearing that some people wash their knickers and socks in hotel kettles & boil noodles or eggs, thought it best to buy my own kettle and not trust the kettles provided which is always a shocker with scale. This is small enough to put in a case or a rucksack.

Great small compact kettle, takes 8 mins to boil when filled to just below max line, does two cups easily, great value for the money, not to heavy to carry, the quality is sturdy outside and easy to handle once boiled, the outside skin gets warm but can be held by a responsible adult

I am very pleased do not full passed the water level mark inside and make sure that the pressurer plug is out on the top.it taken aproxamaty 10 mins to Boil.enough for two muges of water.otherwise highly recommeded.

La bouilloire est conforme à ce que l'on attendait excepté les watts maximum qu'elle consomme. Sur la fiche amazon, il y a indiqué 600 sauf que c'est une 300 watts, et donc l'eau met bien une dizaines de minutes pour bouillir complètement. A voir au fil des utilisations.
