Did not put any ink on paper ?!?!?
Successfully replaced a failed printhead on an HP OJP 8710 with this product. The printer accepted it, the PC accepted it, the print levels for all four HP 952 ink cartridges were detected. However, despite going through the motions, no print job sent through it (including the standard printer test page) put any ink at all onto the print page. I am flabbergasted. At the time of this review, at least 3 out of 4 reviewers seemed to indicate that the printheads they received actually printed successfully, so mine must have been defective in some way, but with nothing given to troubleshoot. Submitting this review accordingly. Returned the item. (Thanks for making that part really easy, Amazon!)

Turn a dead thrift store printer that cost 20-40 into a working one.
Got a deal on a HP 8720, unfortunately such expensive printers at thrift stores come with a serious downside- Bad print heads. Your print was easy to install and worked after several alignments and cleanings.

STOPPED PRINTING GREEN AFTER 20 DAYS
Took less than 5 minutes to install. Took a few more minutes for the ink to cycle and align. Hopefully will give me a few more years of service on an HP8740. $100 for a print head vs. $300 for a new oneUPDATE: PRINT HEAD STOPPED PRINTING GREEN. ALL CARTIDGES ARE GENUINE HP. RETURNING FOR REFUND.

Great product with great pricing and fast shipping.
Installed new printhead per instructions and now the printer is working again.

Stopped working after a few weeks.
Put new printhead in, with new cartridges, and all was great. After a few weeks, the printer is reporting a printhead problem and no longer prints.

Easy to install printhead replacement for OfficeJet Pro 8710
This printhead is easy to install. The original can be replaced without specialized training, equipment, or settings. This is a lot more economical than an original printhead replacement. It's compatible with the OfficeJet Pro 8710. It's designed to last a long time and prevent needing to be replaced very often. This will fix a variety of printhead issues such as clogs preventing clean prints.
