Hello all, I am trying to control a separate external power supply with this using an Arduino. Do I need any other electronics for operation?

This module allows you to control a load that exceeds the current and/or voltage ratings of an Arduino or other microcontroller. You connect an Arduino output pin to the module’s IN+ lead, and the Arduino’s ground to the module’s IN- lead. The Arduino’s output pin is completely isolated from the module’s LOAD and DC-IN leads. You connect your external load’s DC power supply to the DC-IN leads (red=pos, black=neg) and your load between the LOAD leads, red=pos and black=neg. An example use would be to drive a brushed motor in one direction and at one speed. The power supply should be DC and a voltage less than 30V. The current draw of the motor should be less than 10A. When the Arduino output pin goes high the motor would spin, and when the pin went low, the motor would stop. If the motors moved in the wrong direction, you would reverse the LOAD leads. For this type of application, you do not need any additional electronics.
