If you hate toe cleavage I feel bad for you son - I got 99 problems, but this shoe ain't one
I was never crazy about her as a celebrity, but I continue to be a huge fan of the Jessica Simpson brand, especially the shoes. I fully intend to wear these until they're falling off, then order another pair.Fit: Perfect. I have normal-width feet that generally fit into a 9 or 9.5 in most shoes. I went with the 9.5 here, and it fits like a dream.Style: Couldn't be better. I purchased the taupe, which has maybe just slightly more grey than displayed, but it's still a warm and beautiful, year-round color. I especially like that the body of the shoe is a matte suede while the straps are a shiny satin. It's a nice texture variation and an extra nod to the design of a real ballet shoe.Pros:- insanely comfortable - those smooth satiny straps wrap securely around the ankle without choking or chafing- versatile - can't wait to wear these with basically everything in my wardrobe, to the office, out to dinner, sightseeing on vacation, everywhere- reasonably priced - well made and a total bargain for $39.99 in my opinionCons:- literally my only complaint is that even the lowest low-profile socks are a no-go (the sides of the shoe are just too shallow)Yes, you can see "toe cleavage." Exposure of toe cleavage is not always faux pas, and in fact many upscale designers favor it for its subtle sexuality. If you're that worried about people seeing the cracks of your toes, then by all means avoid this shoe, but you're really missing out.

Unexpectedly Comfortable
I try very hard to avoid brands by celebrity "designers". I saw these for 16.00 at just the time I really needed a pair of comfy black flats that didn't look like the typical office black flats. I wear a lot of ankle length pants, and skirts. For me, I need something around my ridiculously skinny ankles that look somewhat pitiful in typical flats. These work well. When I wore them for the first time, I walked around on sidewalks for a couple of hours. My toes were a bit sore, but I certainly didn't get blisters. The shoes also have just a bit of arch support. They're definitely not flat inside. I would prefer them not to look so much like ballet slippers, as probably would most women over the age of 10 and NOT dancers. Still, they don't look too youthful and provide me what I need from a pair of flats.

Beautiful, nice quality flats for casual and dressy outfits.
I really love these adorable truly ballet-style flats! They do run a little small, I am very squarely a size 7 shoe everywhere I go, but I had to return my size 7 in these and get the 7.5. The half-size up worked perfectly for me. I love these flats because they're really cute and they can be worn with a casual or dressy outfit. I wore these for my college graduation ceremonies and they were perfect! They are comfortable to wear all day, but I think they start feeling like they pinch your toes after a few hours, nothing unbearable, though.I don't like that they show a little bit of "toe-cleavage" but they're so beautiful otherwise it isn't worth deducting a star. A great feature that I didn't even think of that you get with this style is that the flats will hold on your feet even if they are dangling. Other flats would fall off your heels, but since these have the straps around the ankles, they stay securely on. The ankle straps are comfortable. They seem to be made of great quality material and at $20 they're a fantastic price for nice Jessica Simpson ballet flats. I originally saw a pair of Jessica Simpson flats just like this but with a square pointe toe at Dillards for $80! They haven't dropped in price in 2 years so I'm happy that I found these on Amazon. And I think the round toe is a lot cuter than the square/flat pointe style toe.

Much Too Small
As far as looks go, I think these are cute.-I typically wear Lucky (Brand) EmmieFlats. These look lots like the Lucky. These are much to small.I usually wear a 7.5 or 8. I never wear a wide shoe. I bought these in a 8. Tried them on but, much too short and narrow. I imagine I would need a 8.5 aid a wide width. No way could I wear these. Runs extremely small all the way around. Too bad bc I do like them. Looks like since they do offer a wide wide, most of the sizes in a W are sold out. Thinking everyone wants a wide width so I bet they fit everyone too narrow asI’ve never seen a shoe that most women wear a W. Thinking these would fit a woman that generally wear a narrow width.

this was weird
so i ordrered this shoe thinking it was a super deal but in actuality it was overpriced for the quality. the opening of the top of the left shoe was not rounded as the right shoe... it was more angular. this shoe does not look as good as the square toe version, of which i have a pair in the leopard, the the cheetah and the black. becaus this shoe was 39.99 i thought i would check it out. when i receved the other pairs, i quickly realized you get what you pay for. i have a hard time beleiving these arent knock offs compared to the quality of the other shoes i received.... the square toe versions are amazing, memory foam insides and satiny straps. this pair is stiff leather (not buttery soft like the other ones), the straps are not satiny like the other pairs...it is more of a very firm rugged elastic... the rounded toe just makes it look like a shoe, whereas the square toe and satiny straps look very feminine and classy. i returned these for a full refund.

Best shoe ever!
I have the same shoes in black, and wine colored patent. Feels like I’m walking on air. Very flattering to the foot. Minimizes your foot, for sure. I normally wear an 8 1/2 in a closed shoe. In these, I need a nine. These have a rounder toe than the other Jessica Simpson ballet flats, which look and fit very similarly – those have a square tip. I like these equally.
