I was worried about how flush this would be based on some other reviews. For reference I ordered this for a 2021 BMW 430i. Fits perfect and eliminates a dead space on the shifter assembly and creates something useful bmw should have. I’m not super worried about the flushness of the rear as there’s a hinge so by design it likely needs to be that way which in all honesty is negligible given how it enhances the interior from a utilitarian standpoint.

I have a 2024 228i and always carry quarters for my Aldi cart (IYKYK). I got tired of digging around in my console so I was really happy to find this product. The piece that comes with it to remove the existing part is a little flimsy but it did the job. I swiftly removed the old piece and easily popped the new one in. It fit perfectly and holds a bunch of my quarters. Very functional and reasonably priced.

Fits my 2024 I4 perfectly and the included tool made it easy to swap with OEM part. The unit is clearly a lower grade plastic than what we pull out of the space but not really something you can tell unless you open it. For storing change, it does the job.

BMW decided to cheap out on the "ultimate driving machine" (don't get me started) that I bought from them and eliminate a place to store change. There is a hole with a blank plastic top in the center console where this box fits. It comes with a helpful little plastic tool to pry out the blank plastic top so you can insert this box. Unfortunately the tool broke within seconds of me trying to use it but I easily finished the job with a tiny screwdriver like you would use to tighten the screws in your glasses. The box fits perfectly and provides the perfect place to store change. It's a really nice product and I recommend it.

Perfect fit for a 2025 BMW i4. Install took 1 minute. Use the provided tool to remove the original piece from the right hand side. You will hear a snap/pop that almost sounds like you broke it but it's just the original piece coming out of its position.

Great item (that should come standard from BMW). Installation took about 1 minute. Before I could put in my coins, my wife dropped in her chapstick! It looks great with a quality fit. Would recommend to others.

I love it, a little extra storage space where I put loose change, especially quarters for old school meters that doesn't take credit card. Took me about a minute to remove and install. And the color weren't too far off!

Looks ok but doesn’t match the piano black finish and the tool the send you with it just bends and breaks. I was not able to remove my blank plate to install this tray. At least it was only $15 wasted

The colour and finish is not the same as the OEM piece this is designed to replace. The picture shared is from a 2022 i4 e40 and shows the newly installed piece with the OEM laying on top of it. Note the difference in matt vs glossy finish and the shade of black. Disappointed 'cause I was really hoping that this would look great and add functionality. Functions great and install was easy with the right tools - not the one that comes in the box. Start from the corner closest to the passenger floor mat and work your way clockwise around the unit.

I am extremely disappointed with this product. It came with a different installation tool than the one shown in the advertisement. The tool I received broke during installation and damaged my car. I now need a refund as well as compensation for the damage caused to my vehicle. To make matters worse, the product is not the same color as advertised and doesn’t fit properly, leaving an unsightly gap. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this product entirely. It’s not worth your time or money.
