Just the ticket. After a failed femur implant, my right leg is over an inch shorter than the left. While I'm still limping, it is so much more comfortable. I bought 6 in the end, 4 to stick down in the shoes I wear most, and the other 2 to be put in others that I wear infrequently.

The height could have been a bit higher and longer but they were comfortable.

These are great, 3rd lot ordered so I can have ready in all my shoes. Versatile, easy to use, good quality and they last.

Wonderful! Fit my shoes and sandals really well and instantly relieved heel pain from achilles tendinitis. Have gone from limping to pain free walking. Recommended to me by a runner and I'm so glad I bought them!

Ok but they do flatten bring gel

I fractured my hip last year, a compression fracture which was undetected for several weeks. It has healed without intervention but has left the affected leg about 10mm shorter. I now need a heel lift in my shoe to avoid aching and discomfort in my lower back / hip. I was given solid silicon variable height lifts by the NHS but the solid layer under my heel increased the discomfort. These cushioned gel layers work very well. I use three layers and now have no discomfort in normal day to day activity. I mostly wear sneakers/trainers however as three of the layers out of four are clear and they are self adhesive they can even be used in sandals without being too obvious. I’ve also used two layers together with a T shaped gel heel grip (also self-adhesive and from Amazon) in slip on ballet flats and some court shoes, which also works well; the heel grip substitutes the third layer and keeps the shoe on when I need a more dressy look. Although I’m 64 I’m not ready to succumb to wearing ‘granny’ shoes with occasion outfits and these have been a godsend to allow me to continue to wear most of my occasion shoes.

I used these for shoes that were slightly large but found that the inserts were not very helpful
