A great winchester style clock.It even smells like wood. Was easy to set up. Place a pendulum on in the back after you remove the packing. Make sure you have the shiny side front. To set up make sure the battery is first removed from the chimebox, which has the two batteries by each other. Go ahead and put the pendulum battery, lower and the up and down side 14 clock movement in 1. Set the clock using the inside with your thumb to rotate a till it is at 6:50 exactly 2. Put all the batteries inside. Make sure the red slider for the chime on /off us to the right and off. 4. Put the two batteries into the chime box, which is the upper box on the outside of the clock. Set sl8der to desired chime setting 5. Press the red set button, which is small.Red pushing button on the left just under the battery tab of the voice box The clock will chime based on the setting you have on 1 through 4. 6. The clock is now starting at 650 a m. So use the thumb will by the inside battery to set the current time. If you are between six thirty and eleven fifty nine a m.You rotate it until you reach that time. If you're later than twelve noon, you go past the twelve and it now becomes pm setting. If it's early a m you'll have to go past the twelve again.For between one and five a m. Now that the time is set, you can switch the chime on and off. Red slider to the left, which turns on the chime. To the right turns it off. put on the backing using the four securing slide tabs. There is a volume control will in the middle of the Voicebox control. And you can rotate it to the left to make it quieter or the right to make it louder, all the way to left. There's a nice quiet sound that won't disturb the room. But is pleasant, if you're in a larger room, you probably will need to turn it up some or leave it at the upper setting.It's already on.

Ordered this for my husband, but when it came in, it did not function properly. I reached out to the manufacturer and they went above and beyond to replace the clock. The quality of the clock is outstanding, the chimes sound so pretty and it is an absolutely beautiful clock. It was really nice to have someone who stands behind their product as you do not always see that nowadays.

This clock looks nice and the sound is OK for the price paid. However, we have owned many clocks in the past. We have never had a clock that was so difficult to use. We owned for just over a month and the battery died. It happened at the change of time for the season. We installed a new battery, followed the horrible instructions, reset the time. Now it is running one hour behind. I wish we never purchased it. Window to return was 30 days, a couple days before we had the problem. Highly disappointed! UPDATE: Apparently, our problem was an isolated incident. Our communication with this seller was beyond wonderful. They truly care about their products and their customers. They worked with us to try and fix the problem. Unfortunately, we could not fix it. They graciously offered a replacement or refund. We liked the clock and the company enough to take the replacement. We highly recommend this seller! They do business the old fashioned way! Originally, I was disappointed with this clock. The seller was very helpful. After reading my initial review, they contacted me. We received a new clock shortly thereafter. The new clock had NONE of the problems the first clock had. We had no problems with the setup. It is hanging on the wall, chiming properly and keeping time. We are so pleased with this clock. We are also highly appreciative of the quality of customer service!!!

This wall clock is a "work of art" and added a touch of elegance to our living room wall. Battery operated with built on wall hanger. Contains chime with on/off button.

It does not chime after 9:00 pm which is ridiculous and no way to correct it. Most have options for not chiming after dark if you don't want it to chime at night. Everything else is very good and keeps very accurate time.

Looks great and meet her needs

Works OK but the chimes are loud and cannot be adjusted to lower the volume. Also the sleep mode is not adjustable to different hours. So if you sleep late, be ready to be awakened by chimes at 6 AM. Wish it was a little larger. It is difficult to change the chimes because the controls are behind the clock face which is difficult to access when the clock is on the wall.

Love it. Volume is adjustable so depending on the size of you home or flat, you can set it to a level you are comfortable with. Fits into any decor.

Great clock wanted 1 for a while very nice

Item arrived on time and as promised, clock is wonderful, the chime is tuneful and it's quarter chimes are of different duration - helpful. It was easy to assemble following the good instructions and we are delighted as it replaced a much loved item of 40 plus years.
