Charged it for 6 hours on the USB and it initially worked wonderfully in my puzzle lamp shade. Never did see a green light. It came on at dusk and I thought I found the perfect lamp. Next night after a full day in the sun, it never came on. Took it down and charged it in the sun for a day. Red light still on and only a faint glow on the LEDs. Not sure if it's a solar panel or battery storage issue. Thanks to Amazon's excellent return policy I am getting a replacement bulb. Will update after a few days use of the new one.Update...7/31 -- Total junk. Does not function as described. The "solar panel" does not charge well even after being in full sunlight all day. Defeats the purpose of installing up high and never having to turn it on/off ever again or charge w/the USB. The USB charging is awesome, lasts for 12+ hours, but can't do that every time. I have solar lights throughout my yard that do just that. Charge all day, turn on automatically at dusk, shine bright for 6-8 hours. You get what you pay for.

Light is goood but didnt work good with the solar wich is the reason i bought it

I have bought at least a dozen of the K Bol solar bulbs, and I love them. However these particular ones GS-1200-02 didn't have a plastic frame around the solar panel. I put one up outside, and rain caused the wires within the panel to become corroded. Also, without the plastic frame it's hard to know how you would attach the panel except with glue, which would make it hard to move around later. Maybe glue it to a piece of wood, then screw or hang the wood in a suitable spot. Best option, make sure you buy the ones that have a white plastic frame (very hard to see in the photo which has a white background) around them such as KK. Bol GS-1500-02.

Worked for the first 3 weeks then stopped and no longer will turn on . In the trash it goes.

I purchased this solar light to use in my chicken coop. I liked the (somewhat) dusk to dawn feature. On average the bulb will stay lit for about 3-4 hours using the dusk / dawn feature but I have seen where quite often it will never come on at night. When it works it serves its purpose enough to draw my chickens back into the coop at night, but like I said it does not always work.

This product did not work from the get go! It’s a piece of junk and I ordered two. Don’t buy this!!
