I purchased this to flatten out those thick chicken breasts we buy at store, but it is a tenderizer on the other side of mallet. High quality stainless steel, dishwasher safe, multi purpose. Just heavy enough, and manageable for arthritic hands. 👌

This is made from a true corrosion resistant stainless steel (non-magnetic) and should last for years. I've had it for several months and love the balance and feel of the hammer. Perfect for flattening those chicken breasts for the grill so they cook evenly or tenderizing that flank steak! Very well made with smooth lines makes it easy to clean. I would say I'd buy it again but I doubt that will ever be necessary.

No Odin magic here, but a solid hunk of type 304 stainless steel. It makes quick work of my schnitzel and does a great job breaking up bags of frozen vegetables. The large surface area on the head helps distribute force evenly. It’s easy to grip and feels good in my hand. The tool is made from a single piece of metal with no seams, screws, or welds, which makes it about as durable as you can get. It’s also very easy to clean, with no place for food to get stuck or hide.

I love this, but it's a little massive and seems to get in the way in my kitchen drawers. I don't think there's another one I would get instead, but I wanted to write a word of caution about how big this is. I do love that it can go straight in the dishwasher, but I still have to scrub on the rough side to get any bits off. Otherwise, they stick to the surfaces between the spikes and can be a pain to clean. The weight of it feels great. I get the whole counter shaking when I'm tenderizing. May need new cabinets in the future. Makes cooking after a stressful day a bit better.

it is definitely not 100% solid , a few taps here and there and will have abit of echo , whole thing is hollow , but dishwasher safe. washed in dishwasher a few times , so far didnt feel any water inside. cannot find any joint for water to seep in. used this for crushing garlic is better then knife and faster. just cut garlic bottom and split cloves individually , then hammer time . easy peeling of skin later(depending your skills). Hope it wash 100% solid though, then it will feel like marvel movie thor hammer. floor will still get damaged if you drop this from the table. have not try long term

The Mallet weighs 600 grams/1.323 lb. It feels solid you can tender the meat with minimum effort. It's made of real stainless steel, so it is dishwasher safe comparing to aluminium or zinc alloy cast ones. Highly recommended.

I'm using mine specifically for beating bags of ice up in the bar freezer. Works great, looks great.
