Excellent Cooling Performance for the Price!
I recently purchased the Thermalright CPU cooler, and I am very impressed with its performance. The installation was straightforward, and the build quality feels premium. The heatsink design and fan efficiency provide excellent cooling, keeping my CPU temperatures significantly lower even under heavy workloads and gaming sessions. One of the standout features is how quiet it runs compared to other coolers in this price range. Even at higher RPMs, the noise levels remain minimal. The included thermal paste also seems to be of good quality, ensuring optimal heat transfer. The only minor downside is that it might be a bit large for compact builds, so make sure to check your case clearance before purchasing. However, for mid-tower and full-tower cases, this cooler is a fantastic choice. Overall, I highly recommend the Thermalright to anyone looking for a high-performance, budget-friendly CPU cooler.

Extremely impressed
I go back and forth between AIOs and Air coolers. Air coolers are just so reliable, pretty quiet, and you can always swap out the fans if needed. I've never even had a fan die on me anywhere in my PC so I'm really not worried about these fans. Fans are cheap if I really ever needed to replace them. Anyway, I took off my Asus Ryuo iii 360 ARGB to put this fan on because I was using my Asus on a different build. While I did not run identical tests to stress the CPU when comparing both, I can say that this air cooler has had zero issues and really seems to do as good as my AIO. If there were 5 degrees difference I would have noticed. If anything, maybe the AIO is 2 degrees cooler, but I'm just guessing. Either way, if you want a good-looking air cooler that is reliable, silent and keeps your CPU cool then look no further. The size is also just right. Not too big and not too small. The small LEDs around the fan are just right. I've been blinded by CPU fan LEDs in the past. I'd highly recommend this cooler.

Price per Performance probably the best "Air" Cooler available.
Excellent cooling capability. It keeps my 9800x3d at or below 90c when pulling 160-watts during an OCCT CPU Stability Test. It is also a very nice-looking cooler with pleasing, subtle rgb lights in the rim of the fan shrouds. It is probably the best "Air" Cooler available; one would have to use water-cooling to get better performance.

Perfect Air Cooler for a 7950x3D
Big and beefy, easy to install, and mounting was a breeze. From gaming at max settings (w/4080 Super) to running Cycles animation renders in Blender (21 hrs nonstop at the longest so far), this CPU cooler keeps my 7900X3D running niiiiice and chilly. Average idle is around 46-50c for me, and this is during the summer months where my house gets to around 75-80F on the hottest days. Come winter and average 60-ish F temps, I'm imagining it will run even cooler. Installed this within a Corsair 4000x case with a glass front panel. Note that if you have this specific case, the radiators and fans for this cooler are going to be SUPER close to touching the side glass, but there is just enough clearance for it to fit snugly. Second thing is RAM height- I had to move the frontmost fan over juuuuust a bit so that it doesn't touch the G.Skill Trident RAM I have installed. Still functions perfectly, but do keep that in mind if you don't have low-profile RAM.

It's huge!!! But works good!
I am amazed as how big this cooler is and how quiet the fans are compared to my prior AIO cooler's radiator fans. It's top quality and I see why this company has such high ratings! My only gripe and reasons I only give this 4 stars it's because I have RGB RAM sticks that are high profile and the one of the Fans covers them. Bare there is no clearance between the RAM and the Cooler Fan. I have 64 Gigs and wasn't going to dump the current ones to accommodate the fan's profile and size. I have a Ryzen 7 5800X and this big boy keeps it super cool. Under loads it reaches around 60C. Idle stays in the low 30's C. Recommended!

Outstanding Performance at a Reasonable Price
This Thermalright cooler is one of the few air cooling solutions capable of handling a 14700K at its full 253W power draw without throttling. The performance-to-price ratio is outstanding. It's also functionally inaudible during normal use; at full fan speed it's certainly noticeable, but it doesn't even reach 100% duty cycle on my 14700K, so-given that your case has sufficient airflow, etc.-there's really no reason why it should ever be loud enough to be annoying. Installation is straightforward thanks to the well-designed mounting system. The heatsink looks sleek for what it is, and the aRGB is plenty bright to be visible even in cases with tinted side panels. A minor plus is the LGA2011v3 compatibility, increasingly rare among reputable manufacturers in 2025. Thermalright's long-standing reputation for quality at competitive prices is well-deserved. This cooler continues that tradition with zero compromises. Worth Considering Before Purchase: Some of Thermalright's AIOs are occasionally priced similarly or lower than this air cooler, and they will likely outperform it in real-world use (installed in a case, not on an open test bench). Unlike an air cooler (which is limited by the in-case air temperature), an AIO can either exhaust CPU heat directly out of the case or pull room-temperature air in—depending on how you configure the fans. This becomes especially important with a vertically mounted GPU, where this heatsink is tall enough that it receives direct heat from the GPU exhaust. In my Hyte Y70 case with a 14700K and a 7900XTX, during heavy GPU load but light CPU load, the hot GPU exhaust raises CPU temperatures to about 65°C. Under moderate CPU load, temperatures remain reasonable as the CPU fans ramp up to compensate, but a good AIO would perform better, particularly in low-CPU-but-high-GPU-load scenarios. Physical clearance between this heatsink and a vertically mounted GPU can also be an issue, depending on motherboard socket location and GPU size. Bottom Line: This is an excellent air cooler with no inherent flaws, and I highly recommend it. Depending on your setup, you might be better served by a Thermalright AIO at a comparable price point. You can't really go wrong with either option.

This cooler works quiet well. My mounting method and thermal paste applications is not perfect still i am getting around 75°C on full 180W~185W with ambient temperature 29°C. My case has 3 intake and 1 exhaust fan. My case is not best for air flow still I am very happy with results. I stress tested my cpu and cooler for 30mins+ and no throttle. I am using this cooler with overclocked core ultra 5 245k running at 5.4 GHz at p core and 5.0 GHz at e core all core full load. And this 75°C was hot point. Installation was quiet easy Low noise level at full rpm. High quality fans and fins. Most value for money cup air cooler i found on the market other coolers with similar performance were 10K~12K

Works great, no issues with it at all. Noise is good, cooling is excellent, standard installation with idiot proof explication. Some what bulky so be mindful of the dimensions.

Whether you’re after the highest possible CPU overclock, or just looking to build a PC that's silent under load, you should choose your CPU cooler carefully. The best CPU cooler for your build will make a big difference in your system's temperatures and fan noise. In high-end systems, it can even deliver better performance by keeping boost clocks higher for longer.
