Great Comfort and Value for the Home Office
I needed an ergonomic chair that didn't break the bank, and this Furmax mesh chair is a fantastic find, it offers great price for a great product. The mesh back is the key feature here; it keeps me cool and comfortable during long hours at the desk, unlike those heavy, faux-leather chairs. Assembly was straightforward, and the mid-back design and built-in lumbar support hit just the right spot to keep my posture in check. The swivel action is smooth, and the chair feels surprisingly sturdy for the price point. If you are looking for a reliable, breathable, and supportive chair that excels in terms of value, this is an easy recommendation.

Great chair and surprising quality for the price
Simple instructions, easy to assemble. The 2" thick foam seat and mesh back support are comfortable. Adjustable height and rocking. Definitely not plush but, for a office chair that is not used 8 hrs a day, it's more than adequate. I love when they give you extra screws and washer in case you lose one.

Sturdy, Comfortable, Limited Height.
Well priced (when I bought it). Easy to assemble. Very sturdy and very comfortable. My only dislike is that the maximum height is lower than I would prefer when working at a computer.

perfect office staple
this chair was really great value for the money. it's comfortable enough to spend hours working in, it's firm enough to not cause back issues and it was really easy to put together. it came with everything you'd need to put it together (no screwdriver needed), and the instructions were VERY easy to follow. the height is adjustable as well.

Looking for an affordable comfortable chair? Look no further.
This is a very good chair - especially for the price. You do need to assemble it but it is very easy to do so. The instructions are clear and everything you need to assemble the chair is included. It's not a long process it only has a few steps. It is the most comfortable chair I have tried in this price range. The bottom/cushion is good. I work 11-hour days and most of the time I'm sitting in this chair, and my butt feels fine. Nothing special about it but nothing to complain about either. The back of the chair is curved. It provides decent back support to me. It's better than my old chair so I'm happy. One thing I should mention about this chair is that the chair may not be good for bigger people. I am 5ft 9in and 195lbs. The arm rests on the chair are narrower than other chairs I've tried. I fit fine, I mean my body doesn't touch the arm rests when I sit in it, but just barely. If I were any bigger, I think I would have a problem fitting in the chair. Also, I'm used to just jumping into my old chair. My old chair had arm rests too, but it was wider. I can't really do this very well with this chair. Sometimes my butt hits the armrest, so I have to grab the chair and maneuver it around so I can sit in it. Not that big a deal, but there it is. There is a way around it however. You can just not install the arm rests if you want. Besides that, this chair is a fantastic chair. Exceptional considering the price. I am very happy with my purchase. I would definitely recommend purchasing it.

Great Office Chair for the Price!
UPDATE MARCH 2024 After a lot of time with this chair, I've come to terms with the fact that ultimately, it wasn't worth it. The seat no longer stays at the height I want it to be at and it keeps sinking to it's lowest setting. The lumbar support also no longer supports. When I first got this chair, I set it so that the backrest would remain firm and not tip backward but now it does exactly that. It was nice while it lasted but certainly not long lasting. ORIGINAL REVIEW JUNE 2022 Admittedly this chair was delivered not even two hours ago, so I can't speak much about its long-term comfort or durability but here is what I can tell you about it: 1) The most effortless assembly ever! It took me about 30 minutes to put this chair together but I can't say for sure because I didn't actually time myself and my need for perfectly aligned holes may have lengthened the time significantly. I did it by myself and it was a real snap to do. 2) The plastic portions of the chair seem very sturdy and not flimsy like some office chairs I've had in the past. They seem like they will stand up to wear over time but that remains to be seen. The seat cushion is definitely comfier than I expected, it is firm and seems like it can easily snap back into shape after a long day of someone sitting in it. 3) The backrest is perfect for me, I have a bad habit of hunching forward because my previous chair had no support or cushioning but then again, I was using a wooden chair. The lower lumbar support is very nice as it keeps me from hunching over at my desk by instead, encouraging me to lean back and give my spine a break. I have the reclining knob set to its furthest capability to help with this. 4) This may not be the office chair for tall people or anyone seeking to be higher up but I find it suitable for me. At its highest position, the heels of my feet are less than an inch off the floor and I am only 5'2" tall, so I guess it will depend on what you are looking for. 5) The wheels seem like they will hold up great and while I know this is more of a pet peeve than an actual complaint about the product, I feel it is important people know that this chair DOES NOT move across low-pile carpeting very easily. If you are like me and you have wall-to-wall carpeting you may want to purchase one of those plastic floor mats or replacement wheels designed for carpeting to ensure maximum rolling capability. To me, it doesn't matter at this point because I have no real space or need to roll around in my chair except for pure amusement. 6) My only REAL complaint about this office chair is the width. I honestly didn't think to pay attention to this when purchasing. I am a decently hippy woman, as in, I have some pretty damn wide hips and this chair is a little too narrow in the seat for what I would be comfortable with. This is not to say my booty doesn't fit in the chair because it does but oh boy, I can't get much wider than I am right now, or else this chair is going to charity. I measured the shortest distance between the front of the two armrests and they are 17-1/2" apart so please take that into consideration if you are a curvy woman like me. OVERALL (TLDR), this is a great chair for the price. Easy assembly, the materials appear durable and up to the task of keeping my butt comfortable on a daily basis. The lumbar support is excellent, the height adjustment is perfect as is the recline mechanism. The only two downsides are that the wheels don't glide effortlessly across my carpet and that the armrests are just a little too close for a curvy body type.

Pleasantly surprised1
I was surprised how sturdy and comfortable this was. The low price made me understand that it might be low-quality, but I am pleasantly surprised. Outstanding purchase!

Mostly good.
The chair is sturdy and reasonably comfortable. The casters that come with the chair are lousy. They don’t turn or roll well on a hard wood floor. After a few days, I invested in a better set of 3” chair casters from Amazon. Now the chair works properly.

Seat is advertised as 20"x20" but actually measures 19.25" wide and just 18.5" where the armrests connect, and the armrests angle inward to only 16.75" apart at their top edges. Our intended main user of this chair is 5'10", 215 lbs, and his thighs press against the armrests. It cannot be assembled sans armrests as they structurally support the back. The lumbar supports are good but low, being most pronounced at 3" to 5" above the seat, and make contact at the top of the hips if you try to sit back in the seat. The seatback slopes rearwards and makes basically no contact with you at points above the lumbar area unless you arch way back. The seat is firm and not very thick, and the recline tension can be increased just enough for a person of this weight. Recline can be locked only in the full upright position, and even when locked the chair still rocks back an inch or so. Seat height adjusts from about 17.5" to about 21". Materials overall are attractive; arms and back frame are a matte textured plastic which feels like it'll scratch easy. The fabric is a medium red that's bright without being garish. Assembly is easy if you pay attention to the three different screw lengths and make sure to use each one where it's called for. Overall an attractive lightweight office chair probably quite suitable for a smaller person. Not a chair for wide-bottomed manspreaders. Should not be represented as especially ergonomic or larger than average.

Honestly for the price it does its job, it beats a lot of other chairs for the price. It supports my posture for the most part. I would say it is a bit hard to sit on at first but as time went on you adjust to it. Additionally make sure you tighten the screws properly and try to line up as best as you can, set up is quick however make sure you adjust the screws properly.

Purchased this chair about 3 years ago. It's solidly built, has a range of adjustments and is extremely comfortable. Back and seat support is excellent so sitting for several hours is not a problem. Wanted to wait a while before writing this review just to see how this chair would hold up after extended use.

While assembling the chair I found the plastic was not of very good quality and fixing the screws was becoming difficult. The worst part of this chair is the seat cushion which is very poor quality, when I sit I feel I am sitting on a flat wooden bench :-(
