Lasts six to seven months
Cable is fine in terms of sound but after 6-7 months of light use at home it began to cut out . No heavy use or knocks so really just down the quality of the product . Disappointing and wouldn’t recommend this item Edit: I’m upgrading this review because d’addarios customer service is frankly excellent. Contacted them about the cable and they were happy to send a replacement. Simply needed an invoice and evidence of destruction. Will see how this one goes but impressed with the company

Planet Waves Cable
I was delighted with the quality of the cable. It has a very flexible outer casing that does not kink but bends very easily and lies flat on the floor as I wander around and play. It has a lifetime guarantee. The moulded plug at each end is very firmly attached to the cable and there is no movement between it and the cable. I even tried removing the plug from my amplifier by pulling the cable (a method of removal I never use)and there was no sign of movement or stress. I think this product is very robust and would buy another without hesitation.
